Tulum's close proximity to Cancun and the azure backdrop of the Caribbean Sea makes it the most visited of the Maya sites in the Yucatan and a unique trip back into history. Mounted on the edge of a cliff, this abandoned city towers above the beautiful white sandy beach, where the sun rises from the sea above the city walls and for the ancient Maya, begins her dance across the sky. You will have a 45 minute guided tour of Tulum before departing for the short drive to Xel-ha.

A large area of protected inlets and lagoons, Xel-ha is a beautiful natural aquarium, home to many varieties of colorful tropical fish. Here at your second stop for the day you can learn to snorkel and enjoy observing the fish at an arms length, explore centotes (underground caves) or simply sit in one of the beach chairs and soak up the sun along the spectacular coastline!

During your time in Xel-ha food, snacks, soft drinks, ice cream, beer, national alcoholic beverages are included, along with use of towels, locker and snorkeling equipment. The resort has 5 restaurants to choose from serving international and fast food. There will also be time to participate in a Swim with Dolphins activity (additional cost), one of the most popular things to do at Xel-ha. Depart Xel-ha at approx. 5:00pm for the 90 minute drive back to your hotel.

• Pick up all the passengers from 7:00am to 7:15am at the lobby of all major hotels or alternate meeting location

• 1.5 hour drive to Tulum
• Guided tour of Tulum – approx. 45 minutes
• 20 minute drive to Xel-Ha
• Depart Xel-Ha at 5:00pm
• Arrive in Cancun approx. 6:30 pm
