It was just like in the movies!!
Pick up from the hotel and the ride to the Everglades gave you a chance to see sights far out of the down town and beach area. Our driver gave a good narrative of sights along the way.

Unfortunately, we did the trip on a cool day - the reason we were given for seeing very few crocs! The airboat trip was good and it was interesting to see the everglades landscape

This was a good tour. The timing was good. I don't think the tour guide was over ally good though his English was hard to understand

Excellent taste of the everglades. Pick up and
drop off were as expected.

The air boat ride was fun. I was surprised how fast it went and how smooth the ride was. We saw plenty of gators laying in the sun and swimming around. We did have to wait in line for the boat for about 40 minutes (the first 3 groups went out and we had to wait for the boats to come back for the next groups to be herded on). The driver was very informative about the area. Afterward we went to the show which was pretty much the same info we got from the boat ride, but the guy was funny. We didn't have time left to go to the "zoo" or whatever it was behind the show area or try any food. There's a little gift shop too that's somewhat reasonably priced.
All in all I liked this tour, but I knocked off a star for the hotel pickup. I received a phone call that the pick up would be between 8:30 and 8:40 and to be downstairs at 8:15 just in case. At 8 that morning I got a phone call from the concierge that the bus was waiting for us. We were planned to be down there 15 minutes later so we weren't even ready. We got down there at about 8:15 and the bus had already left. Luckily the concierge was able to call the company (Admiral Tours) and find out where we could meet the bus. So we had to take a $15 cab ride to the mall to catch them. The bus driver wasn't the nicest person and just showed me his paper with 8:00am written by our hotel. Miscommunication, I guess...

The trip was great - 35 minute airboat ride was the highlight. The facilities at the safari park were old, restaurant was shabby and the toilets were some of the worst we've seen. We chose to eat after the trip as a result. Apart from that a great experience.

The airboat trip was fun, but I think the boat should have gone faster. And we didn't see a lot of crocodiles out in the everglades - not the right weather. But in the contained area, there were lots of crocs. So all in all, I would say we got out money's worth.
The thing that added the most value to me was our bus driver - he was great!

The everglades experience itself was good. The guides were informative and friendly and we saw gators! However, the bus was very late picking us up and the journey was not very comfortable as the bus was old and air conditioning was not as effective as it could have been.

Not bad but not the best trip either. The airboat guides didn't give too many details about the everglades and we had not been made aware in advance that the alligators would be no where to be seen as they are hiding in the thick undergrowth. The alligator talk was good and informative but the shop and cafe were disappointing.
