The shop owner and staff were unbelievably knowledgeable about the wine and the pairings that went along with it. The shop is a local gem and the staff were filled with that good ole friendly Italian culture. A few of us stayed after the wine tasting and with a purchased bottle of wine, we were served even more delectable food parings free of charge. I met people from Germany, the Philippines and Australia. I definitely recommend it! One remark: it's a little hard to find...it's directly behind the subway stop towards the back corner of the street.

More than just a wine tasting! We were poured 3 large glasses and consumed them with a delicious variety of local meats and cheeses, we were not rushed and offered several further glasses on the house as they had a promotion evening for a cork grower following our tasting. We took up the offer of one further glass and then staggered to an excellent restaurant nearby that the sommelier recommended. Great!

The host was very informative about Italian wine, especially the Spumante (sparkling wine); all the way from the grape to the glass. In addition to an interesting event, the bar "That's Wine" has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic night, there were 6 of us in our group and we were the only ones on the wine tasting. Marco was fantastic, extremely good knowledge about all the wines, had a good sense of humour and recommend a lovely restaurant for afterwards...............even made the reservation and ordered the taxis. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, didn't know what to expect but so glad we did it and would definately recommend it.
Wine selections were really nice and we were served various meats, cheese and bread with each wine. Quirky little venue just hidden away, not easy to find.

Loved the wine, but the experience as a whole was lacking. The bar that was hosting the event (was very small) would not sell any wine to us as they had another party booked after us. That's fine but they allowed half a dozen other people (regulars) to drink during our tasting, but wouldn't allow us to stay for more wine? I found this odd and was a bit annoyed by it.

I thought it was overpriced for what it was. The wines were good quality and you got a 10 min explanation about each, but nothing too specific or interesting, and then just left to it. I dont feel like a learnt anything, just sat drinking wine with the odd bit or bread and meat.

this is a total joke the guide left just to our own devices told us literally one sentence about wine, while he worked away in a bar we just sat there such a take on, what a waste of money take it from me not happy at all
