What You Can Expect
You’ll also visit the theater museum and bookshop, where you can admire paintings and musical instruments dedicated to great Italian composers, and learn more about the opera house’s history. See portraits of famous Italian maestros, such as Giuseppe Verdi and Arturo Toscanini.
As you tour the theater and museum, you'll gain an appreciation of the amount of work that goes in to an opera production at this famed venue, where some of the best singers in the world have performed for more than 200 years.
Book early to avoid missing out! La Scala is extremely popular and regularly sells out weeks in advance.
Lots of information about the Theatre! The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Beautiful place to visit, and we would not have gotten as much out of it without the tour.
We enjoyed this tour very much. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. We even got to see a live rehearsal for that evenings performance which made it extra special.
Our guide was outstanding and we enjoyed our visit/tour. The museum was excellent, however would have liked to have seen more of the actual opera house. Seeing only part of one floor and a room did not give us a good picture of the opera house itself. When we toured the opera house in Paris we got to see almost all of the actual opera house.

Excellent guide, very knowledgeable.
Loved this tour, especially the museum and costumes!
Very entertaining guide. It was great to see the inside of the world's greatest opera house.
Our tour guide met us promptly at the designated spot and introduced herself to each of us. Her English was excellent and she spoke very clearly. She was knowledgeable about the subject and able to deliver the information in an engaging manner with humour. The tour was quite comprehensive and we did not feel hurried through any section. We were given ample time within the theatre to view the interior and boxes. The museum part of the tour and talk about the famous composers, singers and musical directors was really interesting. Highly recommended.
Although I'm not really a huge opera fan, this was a good tour with a helpful and informative guide. Interesting history and artefacts to see in the museum. Definitely worth a visit.
Our guide was wonderful - thank you.
