Our tour guide met us promptly at the designated spot and introduced herself to each of us. Her English was excellent and she spoke very clearly. She was knowledgeable about the subject and able to deliver the information in an engaging manner with humour. The tour was quite comprehensive and we did not feel hurried through any section. We were given ample time within the theatre to view the interior and boxes. The museum part of the tour and talk about the famous composers, singers and musical directors was really interesting. Highly recommended.
Although I'm not really a huge opera fan, this was a good tour with a helpful and informative guide. Interesting history and artefacts to see in the museum. Definitely worth a visit.
If you are a fan of theatre, opera, music, architecture and history, this tour is a must during your visit to Milan. Our guide was excellent (sorry I have forgotten her name). She was so knowledgeable and explained so many interesting stories about the theatre and its early uses by the elite.
It was a great pleasure to visit La Scala as well as a Museum, to see all Divas, Musicians, Composers, and Conductors. Of course, we have seen a lot in a movies, books, and clips but in a Museum it was a different experience as we have seen them alive. Might be it was La Scala air...
It was my childhood dream to visit the La Scala.. I missed out on a performance so the next best thing was a tour. It was informative, plesent and interesting.
Our guide was lovely and very knowledgable ..
Highly recommend to all it is a beautiful place with great history...
The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. She was on time waiting for all of us on a rainy day. It was a short tour but we learned a lot about the history of the theater and the lives of the various artists. She gave a comprehensive lecture on the life of Verdi and even informed us where/how to see Verdi's grave. She also pointed out La Scala’s most ingenious features which is the concave channel under the wooden floor of the orchestra giving it the superb acoustics. All our questions were answered. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends!
Fedra was a terrific guide: so positive, interesting, and with clear passion for opera and the La Scala theatre. We were fortunate that the theatre was unusually quiet for the first hour of our tour so it seemed as if we had it to ourselves. The stories were great and Fedra's knowledge brought the opera house to life. It was a totally enjoyable afternoon. Thank you to Fedra!
I loved the oppo rtunity to go around the inside of this famous building .Marilyn.Australia.
I enjoyed tour.. The guide was very informative, courtesy and his knowledge was great..

This is a wonderful tour in my opinion. I love La Scala and was fascinated by the history that the guide provided. The museum is full of interesting memorabilia, much of which is also explained during the tour. I highly recommend this tour and will consider taking it again next year when I am in Milan.
The tour was excellent. The guide was absolutely terrific. We had no idea that the tour would be so good. The guide was very informative, interesting and certainly knew his history. We got to see the cast of Aida rehearsing. We saw the complete stage area with the scenery drapes hoisted and let down.We saw the stage raised by hydraulics. We spent as much time as we wanted in one of the boxes in the auditorium. Brilliant! Would highly recommend it.
We had a great tour of La Scala and the museum. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and spoke very good English. We were able to look down into the seating area and hear a little during a rehearsal for a performance that night. The museum has some very interesting artifacts and photos, which we really enjoyed. Altogether, a highly recommended tour.
The tour was extremely interesting and informative. Getting to see part of a full orchestra rehearsal was a special treat. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered many questions from those of us on the tour. I highly recommend this tour.
Very complete tour. The guide was great. We enjoyed it very much.
As a classical music/opera lover, I thoroughly enjoyed the La Scala tour. The museum has many historical music instruments, photos and artefacts. The theatre is amazing. The guide gave an interesting and comprehensive coverage of the history of the building, featured composers, artists, etc.
Definitely a must see for anyone interested in opera, and a very good guide who was very knowledgeable who said her grandfather used to sit in the top row of scala. You will have to do the tour to understand the relevance of the last comment.Cant recommend highly enough this tour.
I really enjoyed my visit to La Scala. The guide was so helpful especially when one of my party was late arriving. She told the office of the late arrival and my friend was able to join us when she arrived. We were given so much interesting information and were taken into one of the boxes so we could see the auditorium. The interior of the theatre is magnificent.
The tour guide was absolutely excellent. Very informative and very unstuffy and funny as well. Would have liked to have seen more of the actual theatre as the tour does not take you back stage but the tour guide was worth the money we paid.
Our guide was wonderful. Very thorough and knowledgeable and paced the visit well. We were able to peek inside the actual performance area of the theater even though there was a full dress rehearsal going on, so it was great to be able to see the sound and light crew at work, the full orchestra performing, and the artists on stage singing. Of course it would be nice to be inside and get the full-on La Scala submersion, but if you want that, you'll need to buy a ticket to a performance! Our guide also gave us access to the area just outside the entry doors where only private parties are held now, so we were able to take photos with busts of many famous composers. Her guided tour of the museum was well worthwhile as she explained many details you would miss seeing it on your own. We applaud her stamina and patience with the group. Well worth the price!
