What a wonderful tour! Lake Maggiore is spectacular. The Borromeo Palace on Isola Bella is beautiful and has an interesting history. Our local guide (Sara) was entertaining and knowlegeable. Our lunch at La Pescheria on Isola dei Pescatori was delicious. Stresa is a lovely town with friendly people, quality hand made gifts, and exceptional gelato. We had terrific weather and enjoyed the climate, palm trees, and boat rides. Our local guide (Lara from Zani Viaggi) was very nice and attentive. She even helped us to go for last minute tickets to see Da Vinci's "Last Supper" on our return to Milan, which was a perfect way to end the day. Highly recommended.

The trip was fabulous. The guide was helpful and informative and the boat trip to the islands was the highlight of our holiday.

Beautiful scenery! The bus ride wasn't too long, and the tour guide was excellent. If you are in northern Italy, don't miss out on a trip to one of the lakes. I always dreamed of Lake Como, but Maggiore is just as beautiful and the Borromean islands provide a rich and interesting history, as well as spectacular views.

This was an outstanding tour, well timed even if the weather did not behave! Our tour guide spoke well and there was plenty of time to view both the palace and gardens and enjoy lunch - we would definitely recommend this tour.

THIS trip was cancelled because of lack of sufficient people. Instead they offered alternativeof VERONA AND GARDA LAKE which
was excellent.

This day trip was a pleasant surprise. Quiet islands after the bustle of Rome was a nice change. The tour of Isabelle Island was a garden paradise and a couple of the rooms inside were like nothing else I'd seen so far.
Lunch on Fisherman's Island (not included in tour price) was great and the tour guide gave hints to the best options to consider. We were also given plenty of time to shop in Stresa after the lake tour.

we had a great time on the trip .but the guide was not very good ,never told you anything about were we where only about what time to come back to the coach, apart from that very good.
