Useful Information
Leonardo da Vinci Half-Day Walking Tour including The Last Supper
The delicate nature of this mural and its importance means that entrance is strictly limited to those who have pre-booked tickets – only one group is allowed to stand with the painting at a time, in a specially conditioned room, for 15 minutes only. This tour includes the pre-booked entrance you need to see the painting, as well as an intimate viewing of this special piece of art. The late afternoon departure time allows you to avoid the peak visiting hours of the day.
The Last Supper isn’t da Vinci’s only work in Milan – you’ll also visit Sforza Castle to see his painted ceilings in the castle’s Sale delle Asse. And you’ll visit the temporary exhibition of the Atlantic Codex, a collection of scientific drawings by Leonardo that will allow you to appreciate how he was just as skilled technically as he was artistically. The Atlantic Codex is a very special collection – it’s a 12-volume bound set of drawings and writings from 1478 to 1519, and it’s the largest such collection in the world. It was restored by Brasilian monks in the late 1960s and is currently on display at the Bramante's Sacristy, very near The Last Supper; this tour gives you the chance to see it.

very knowledgeable and very professional leader providing a very interesting tour. I never realised that the last supper was so large. However quite a lot of walking and an umbrella needed in the rain.

I reserved half day walking tour but it was changed to evening walking tour. The schedule changed without notice , meeting point, route of tour and time .However I like it. My guide is a lady who always said " take a note that...." so I can remember a lot of things in musuem of Darcinci and The Last Supper
