I didn't use the hop off feature as much as I would have liked, I didn't allow myself enough time. Make sure you leave yourself one entire day to enjoy to the fullest.

I have been on other hop on hop off city bus tours, and the staff did not appear friendly - no welcome or smile - and were quite abrupt. The journey was too long, and the bus stopped for lengthy periods to collect more passengers even although none were waiting at the stop.

The hop-on hop-off bus was ok as the 2 lines give you a full city round trip which covers all Milan sightseeing places. But a few drawbacks, the buses are not frequent at all. Lots of waiting time for getting buses from each point. Also, it was raining that day and the staff was quite impolite and rude. I had my 3 year old with me and we tried to get onto the bus, but they did not let us in as that bus was full no free seats though plenty of space to stand and prevent us from getting drenched in the rain. We were asked to wait for next bus. They also waited for the next bus to come, so why not let us in and wait together for the nest bus rather than making us get drenched in the rain, that too with my 3 year old!
