This tour was full of food, wine and fun! Valentina was our awesome and super sweet tour guide. She was very informative about the history of the canals and Milan. Loved the places we wined and dined, plenty to eat and drink. The area comes alive in the evening and is a wonderful place to stroll and dine. There is such a pleasant ambiance and good for all ages. I would not have known about this area without the tour. If you need to grab a water after the tour, stop by the 7-24 shop right around the corner from the metro meeting place and say hello to Daejon. He also helped with the metro since there was a taxi strike.
I would definitely recommend this tour.
Coraddo was an excellent and well informed guide. Enjoyed Milan's hidden gem, not sure why it is not better known.
My husband and I did this tour on the first night we arrived in Milan. We joined a group of 5 other people from all over the world. The group "clicked" and had good rapport which made the evening much more enjoyable. We went to 4 (I think) places and had food and wine (or other drinks) at each location. The food was sort of run of the mill things, like cheese, olives, and salami. And the final place we stopped had an aperitvo (sp?), which was nice. I would have enjoyed it more if the food had been local specialties unique to the Milan area. I would have enjoyed more teaching, instruction about local specialties.
However, the area was fantastic! Many of the people we saw in the area were obviously locals out for a night on the town. We returned to the area 3 more times during our stay in Milan. I would recommend this tour.
