Brilliant tour, but it would have been better with an observation carriage as described in the advertisement. Brilliant courier and driver. Well worth the money.

This is one trip not to be missed! I would rate the views on par with those of the Grand Canyon. Simply amazing.

This was a nice addition to our northern Italy trip. It would have been nice to have a map of the route with an explanation of the various points of interest along the way. This was especially true on the bus trip through the wine country. I would recommend reading up on the area prior to going to get a better understanding of the region.

Lovely trip, enjoyed it very much. It would be great if we had more time in St. Moritz. Tour guide was OK. Should explain more detail about the scenery.

Scenery was incredible. Tour guide left something to desire. She did not seem very knowledgeable about items the group was interested in and did not interact with the group very well. Maybe she was new, she was reading info from a book, which would have been fine if she had been honest about that from the beginning. A member of the group fell and the guide seemed unconcerned and started arguing with another group member when he requested she should perhaps watch to make sure all members are with her. Fortunately we had gone on 2 other tours prior to this one and the guides were fantastic. If this had been our 1st or only tour, it would have left a bad impression.

This is a LONG day...however it is a beautiful trip the whole way. Our guide was very informative and we did have the panoramic car. Having only an hour or so is not long enough in San Moritz you don't have enough time to explore. I would recommend this to other travelers visiting Milan for more than 2-3 days.

The day is too long, and there's not enough time in St. Moritz.

This wasn't the advertised trip - we were not on the panoramic train car or the advertised route - but it didn't matter. In fact, the ordinary train turned out better as the windows could be opened for great photos.

The trip was fantastic. The tour guide/leader should be more professional, and should introduce more about the tour.

The trip did not start off very well. The pickup area was not marked, and we were concerned that we were in the wrong spot. The shuttle was not marked, either. Our guide did not explain any thing to us, and he barely spoke to us the entire trip. Once we got to the train the rest of the trip was fantastic. Seeing the Swiss Alps was amazing and being able to spend time wandering around St.Moritz was great.

We enjoyed the trip, but would have liked a bit more organization. The scenery was wonderful, and it was an experience not to be forgotten.

The views of the Swiss Alps were phenomenal, despite the serious shortcomings of this tour. That's the only thing that makes me give two stars instead of one. If I were to do it again, I would just take the train both ways myself rather than this useless tour. After confirming the tour, rearranging our schedule to be in Milan on Tuesday, paying for trains to and from Milan and a hotel, we had to "reconfirm". We were told that only 3 had signed up and they needed 5 to run. We had to make numerous expensive international calls before we received the final confirmation that the tour would run, the day before the tour. The meeting place was hard to find. The tour included a coach ride from Milan to the train station, a 2 hour one way train ride, and a coach ride back to Milan. There was free time, a church tour, and lunch near the train station, then free time in St. Moritz. The only tour commentary we got was on the coach ride to the train. The mike kept shorting out. The English was awful. The shocks were awful on the coach. The guide listened to his iPod on the entire train ride and never said a word on the return coach trip. Three people who were on our tour got drunk at lunch and one threw up numerous times during the trip, including on the coach. The train we took wasn't the sleek, panoramic Bernina Express from the pictures, but an old run down train. The track was out past Turin, so we started the train ride at the next stop. I can barely begin to explain how bad this tour was in the 300 words allowed for this review.

It was OK, nothing out of the ordinary. I was disappointed to ride on such a small train and not the one shown on the photo on internet. The train was small and seats also. I thing the scenery would be nicer in summer. The leader and bus driver where very good. Thank you.

Not enough time in St. Moritz for the length of journey to get there. Tour guide slept on the Bernina Express, and was therefore not available to answer questions. He also gave wrong information in regards to the waterways. Lunch stop would be better in St. Moritz as the stop-off restaurant was very basic and tourists don't mind paying to eat somewhere different. It would also give them more time to relax in St. Moritz after the long journey. Viator is a superb professional company as I went on other tours with no problems. The St. Moritz tour just needs a little attention.

The ad misrepresents the train. It is not a glass top train. In fact, it was a very old train that sounded lousy. Our guide was not informative and couldn't speak the language very well. This tour can be passed up.
