The scenery is spectacular! The Bernina Express is a must do. The guide didn't provide much value. Said little during the trip. But perhaps that was good. At least he was not a distraction.

The scenery was beautiful, but we didn't have enough time to spend in the resort.

The scenery was magnificent! I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Unfortunately, we didn't get the glass top train as described in the brochure, and the train we rode was not as comfortable as we expected. However, we had the best freshly-baked pizza at a restaurant outside the train station in the town of Torino, where we boarded the train.

Fantastic scenery and worth the long day. Would have liked more than 45 minutes at St. Moritz after it took so long to get there. The coach and train were both very comfortable and the guide was very good.

Amazing. You cannot believe that something like that exists. I was in Barcelona, Paris, Venice, Milan, and Rome, but the most exciting and astonishing place that I ever went was on this beautiful trip from Tirano to St Moritz. I knew that those railways and these small towns beside have been named Heritage of the humanity by Unesco. I recommend it.

I loved it very much. It was a great. It is a well organized tour with great views which you can ever see. Guide was very intelligent. He was great in English and Italian.

A long day but worth the early start and late finish. The snow fall was quite substantial which made it even more amazing for someone from sunny Queensland. I would do it again given the opportunity and the bus ride back was I thought even more spectacular the the train trip up to St Moritz.

The Bernina Express was a fabulous experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the train trip. The Swiss countryside was breathtakingly beautiful, and snow-covered Piz Bernina and its glacier lakes were lovely, too. St. Moritz was closed - they were getting ready for their high season - so there was little we could do. We did find one cafe and one chocolate shop open. Our spirits were not daunted by this turn of events, however. We had great chemistry in our group, so what was an excellent tour was just enhanced. We had the chance to see Lake Como on the way up and back, too. It is definitely a 12 hour trip.

This is one of Viator's best tours. The views from the glass top train are fantastic. However they do need to take the Lugana part off the ad as there just would not be time to do all this is one day. We travel by bus through the Lakes area stop for lunch at a beautiful little restaurant small cost extra then board train to St. Moritz. We then return by bus down the switchback road. Fantastic day not to be missed.

Was spectacular. Just would have wanted more time in ST. Moritz. Could have skipped the earlier stops.

We spent 8 days in Italy, and the train ride was the highlight of our trip.

We didn't have a panoramic coach - but that didn't matter a bit - the views were spectacular! Apparently the Bernina Express is a "working" train that uses the panoramic cars mostly in the early morning trips - if you take this from Milan, you will not be boarding the train until about 12 noon. Although you take a bus down from St Moritz, it was not a negative as you get to see a different part of the Alps. Our tour guide was wonderful as was our bus driver -- he definitely had experience winding down the tight mountain turns. If you have time in Italy, I would not miss this trip for anything!
