Monaco Super Saver: Small-Group Tour of Cannes, Antibes, Eze and Monaco
After pick up from your hotel in Monaco, enjoy a scenic drive by comfortable minivan along the fabulous French Riviera. Pass the beautiful city of Nice before arriving at the fashionable seaside resort of Antibes. With your expert guide, explore the pretty streets of the historical quarter and Billionaire's Quay, a world-famous harbor home to some of the world's largest yachts. Next, head to the glamorous city of Cannes with its luxury hotels and restaurants. Admire the beautiful beaches as you stroll along La Croisette Boulevard. Walk up to the Festival Palace, the location of the annual International Cannes Film Festival that attracts celebrities worldwide. Then, visit a typical Provençal village, St-Paul-de-Vence. Enjoy spectacular views of the countryside from this fortified medieval village with its quaint cobblestone streets and art galleries. Finally, arrive back in Monaco and enjoy free time for lunch (own expense) before your afternoon tour.
Afternoon Tour: Eze and Monaco
After lunch, your afternoon small-group tour will begin with a scenic drive to the picturesque town of Eze, located on a hill 1,440 feet (427 meters) above sea level. From this beautiful medieval village, enjoy spectacular views of the French Riviera. Explore the town on a guided walking tour and learn about the art of perfume making at the traditional Fragonard perfumery (entrance included). Next, pass through the stunning village of La Turbie, also known as the ‘Terrace of Monaco'. See the Trophy of the Alps (Trophée des Alpes ), an impressive monument built by the Romans in 7 BC. Once you arrive back in Monaco, see the Prince’s Palace, home to the current monarch, and visit Monaco Cathedral. Get a feel for the Monaco Grand Prix as you drive along the streets used for the annual Formula One race. Finish the tour with a walk around the beautiful Casino Square in Monte Carlo and admire the glamorous hotels and gardens.
