Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Dunns River Falls and Ocho Rios Shopping Tour. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Joe, our driver, was the very best of this trip! Knowledgeable, fun and friendly guy always eager to help out including negotiating if needed. The Dunn's River Fall was our favorite part of the trip. They charge $40 for the CD video of your adventure, but after watching I don't think it was worth it. Shopping was a blast! I recommend this trip and I highly recommend asking for Joe as your driver!
I loved every part of this tour, from the amazing tour guide and driver, to actually climbing Dunns River Falls, then regrouping with an afternoon lunch stop at the Ocho Rios Jerk Center, and finishing off the day with some enjoyable shopping!
Plan on getting wet, wet, wet! Ladies, wear your hair in an appropriate style.
I offered this tour as a gift to my parents and the smiles and happiness they displayed in the pictures they shared with me pretty much summed up how much they enjoyed Dunns River Falls. I have been there myself and loved it too. If you are heading to Montego Bay/Ocho Rios... This tour is a must!!!!
Dunns River was amazing! Definitely worth the trip. We opted for the full day trip which included shopping in Ocho Rios. We were able to purchase most all of our souvenirs here, including rum, for prices lower than most of the places that we had been. We also received discounts because of the tour.
This was great. We took a bus ride to Ocho Rios and received a great detail of information about Jamaican history, economy, and current events from our Jamaica Tours Limited Guide named Nicola. At Dunns River Falls, we were placed with a group and a guide helped us up the falls. The climb was very enjoyable. We made a stop in a town center for lunch and shopping.
The tour was exceptionally well organized! From the driver, the tour guide, to even the staff at the Dunn's Riverfall park, everyone were very courteous and professional. I enjoyed every moment!!
This was my second time visiting Dunns River Falls. The bus ride was extremely comfortable and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Of course, the falls was and still is breathtaking. I would recommend Viator to anyone going to Montego Bay. The tour operator provided excellent service. The price of the tour was the cheapest around as well.
This was a great half-day family adventure. I forgot to call 48 hours in advance to reconfirm and discovered this 30 minutes before pick-up. The travel company was great and still got us on the bus for the trip. Much appreciated.
The drive to Dunns River Falls was enjoyable and allowed us to see a lot of Jamaica and the tour guide was informative and fun along the way. You will see native Jamaica away from the resorts, which helped us appreciate the island even more.
The Falls was exciting and beautiful. We have three kids, ages 11, 9, and 7 and they all thought it was great. Be sure to bring a waterproof camera as there are lots of photo ops.
LOVED IT!!!! Went with friends in 1978 and it was a lot of fun. Wanted to my husband to experience it and he really had a great time. I would highly recommend it.
It was a great experience dealing with professional guide tour leaders.
This was a fun tour. The day was long as the trip to the falls from our resort was far. However on this day we were lucky there was few stops for other clients. The walk up the falls was fun and you could bail at any time if you couldn't complete the trip. You leave all your money on the bus so it is impossible to shop in the craft market as it is inside the gates and your arm band is cut off you when you leave making it not possible to go back in. The shopping consisted of one store in a gated complex however you felt at ease and their prices were very competitive. Some on our tour didn't know they had to wear swim wear so they were soaked without any change of clothing. Definitely one to recommend.
This was so much fun. Make sure to take your water shoes. If you don't you can rent them for $7.00. I would also recommend taking your own waterproof camera. They have a guide filming your entire climb with your group, but the DVD is $40. A bit much that has a bunch of people in it that you may not know in your group. I took my own camera.
