Anyone going to Monterey must see the Aquarium. Really wonderful.
IT WAS GREAT, I FORGOT TO PRINT OUT THE TICKETS BEFORE I LEFT AND DIDN'T, BUT I HAD THE CONFIRMATION SHEET WITH ME. WHEN I ARRIVED THERE AND SHOWED THEM MY PAPER, AND CALLED FOR A SUPERVISOR TO SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR ME. WELL THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL I GAVE THEM THE PAPER AND SAID THAT THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT AND LET US THRU. I HOPE IN THE NEAR FUTURE TO RETURN AGAIN...
Beautiful exhibits! The family area is awesome. We didn't even have small children but, enjoyed the exhibits and friendly volunteers
It was amazing not only we have fun but the kids learn so much
I had a blast at the aquarium. There was so much to see! We go to Pebble Beach every year and we will definitively be visiting the aquarium again on our next visit.
This was my second visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I took my son when he was 1 and this time we went he was almost 3. This was a perfect age. There was tons for him to do and he has a blast. He woke up the next morning asking if we were going to see the fishes again!
Worth every penny. Great for little ones and adults. This is the best Aquarium on the west coast. Get there early to miss the crowds. Even when there are a lot of people in the Aquarium it is easy to see all the events and sites. The jelly fish are my favorite. The items in the gift shop are reasonable priced.
A stunning experience. The presentation from the shallows to the deep was done with intelligence and forethought, taking the visitor deeper into the depths as he or she progressed through the displays.
Awesome, Amazing and a good time had by all. It is overwhelming at first and seems to be of a maze to venture through but be sure to see it all! It takes a good two hours or you have missed something! Definitely get your tickets ahead of time or you will be in a very long, slow line to the ticket counter. A must see if in the area.
This is a wonderful place to visit. A lot to learn and see. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Unless you’re bringing really young children, I would say time your visit to earlier in the morning or a weekday to avoid the crowds of kids a bit. We were a little put off by the overwhelming noise level inside. It took away from the relaxing experience you would expect by being able to view the displays and listen to the music they pipe in to add to your experience.
This is an excellent aquarium and a great experience for all ages. I highly recommend it for an enjoyable day as well as educational experience.
Thank you for your service! If I had not bought my tickets thru you I could still be waiting! The line for admission was out the door and up a hill to the next block. I enjoyed walking past the whole thing and going straight to will call to pick up my tickets. Thank you! Highly recommend!
The Aquarium was great...however when we ordered tickets through Viator did we miss the SENIOR rate?
I don't remember seeing that posted. If that means an extra $15 for the aquarium...o.k. but i want to know if it was on your rate listing.
A really fun place to hang out for a day. I'd definitely recommend going!
The Monterey Bay Aquarium is amazing! It's huge, with so many really cool exhibits and amazing sea creatures. You have the chance to touch stingrays, starfish and little crabs, and watch feeding sessions for penguins and sea otters! I'm a grown up and I was as giddy as a little child running through all the exhibits. My favorite was definitely the jellyfish - so gorgeous and so mesmerizing to look at! Definitely go!
Wow, wow, and more wow's - 1. Wow what a saving over 'on the door' prices. 2. Wow some amazing jelly fish photo opportunities, and wow, seals, wow, sea lions wow hump back whales all in the bay.
One of the best Aquariums I've ever been too! The exhibits do alternate, but they never disappoint. Make sure to check out the sea otters. Super easy to check-in using Viator and they also have an awesome restaurant on property with beautiful views.
My visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium was definitely one of the highlights of my trip down the California coast. The exhibits are great! The sea otters are a blast to watch and the jelly fish were completely mesmerizing. During my visit, they had a special exhibit on the sea horses that was absolutely amazing - who knew that male sea horses are the ones that have babies?!?! Great attraction for the whole family.
