Montreal Half-Day Bike Tour

Guided Bike Tour of Montreal

City Tour: Led by an informative tour guide, you will enjoy a panorama of the city covering a route of approximately 9 miles (14 kilometers). Begin at the Old Port and cycle to the Latin Quarter. Continue to La Fontaine Park, with an unusual detour into one of the alleys of The Plateau. Enjoy a refreshment stop at 'St-Viateur Bagel' and get the opportunity to taste their world-famous bagels! This legendary bakery has been part of the city's culture and of local people's everyday living since 1957. You will then continue to Mount-Royal Park, into the Victorian ambiance of the Golden Square Mile, cycle through the business district, and conclude your cycling tour in Old Montreal.

Vista Architecture Tour: See all of Montreal's famous scenic areas and architectural buildings on this 13 mile (20 kilometers) bike ride. Pedal along the Saint-Lawrence River and enjoy the views from the water. Discover Montreal's unique architectural works and culture. Learn about the historical importance of the Saint-Lawrence River over Montreal, and uncover architectural works and parks that have defined Montreal. You will cross the Saint-Lawrence river via the 'Estacade', a structure built between 1964 and 1965 to control ice formation and movements. On the 'Estacade,' enjoy a food tasting of fine products from Canadian Maple Delights.

City of Contrasts Tour: Explore the contrasts of beautiful Montreal on this 11 mile (19km) bike tour. Cycle through the ritzy Westmount district, the vibrant downtown and the famous Atwater market, as well as the industrial area of St-Henri. At first glance, St-Henri may look downtrodden, this is Montreal's "antiques alley." This ride is easy-level friendly.

Fantastic tour and guide. Be warned, this isn't a casual stroll through Montreal. The biking is more advanced at times with some steep hills. The guide was fantastic and shared numerous details and fun facts about the city. Advice, the morning tour is less stressful than the afternoon tour.

My wife and I had an amazing time during this tour. Danny was our guide and we really lucked out when it game to getting him to lead our group. He was such a cool, down to earth, local guy who made our entire group feel like one family. He was extremely informative as well as funny and entertaining. It was a breath of fresh air to be around him as he explained his city's history and culture to us. I definitely recommend this tour when visiting Montreal. It is a must-do for all!

Our guide, Bruno, was an expert on the history, geography, and development of the City. We rode safely and moderately through different neighborhoods. It was a day of changing weather but our group had fun and learned a lot. We used the information gained on this trip for our next couple of days in Montreal.
