My Mother and her friend flew over to visit me in Montreal. I decided that a day trip to Quebec City would be a good idea and after reading a few reviews I booked the excursion through Viator. We went for the trip without the boat ride and I think it was the right choice as it gave us a couple of hours to explore the city a bit more. The morning was great, the bus driver was great and gave an interesting narration while driving out of Montreal, through the countryside and up to Quebec where we were met by a local guide, we walked round the "downtown" area and he gave a witty yet informative introduction into the history. We then got back on the bus and got to see areas which in one day would be hard to cover on foot. At this point the tour seperates for lunch, then people on the river tour go and get on a boat and the rest have 4 hours or so to explore. The weather was amazing so we were happy to head up the funiculaire and wander round the town. over all it was a great day and I'm sure the next time friends come to visit I will be doing the same thing again.

Rock was our guide and was very interesting and fun. He pointed out that he was showing us as much as he could in a limited time, but he did this in a clear, concise and informative way. It's true when they say you need more than a day to see the city, but my friend and I came away satisfied with the amount we had seen. If you are short on time, I would definitely recommend this tour.
My husband and I had a great time in Quebec City! The guides were very friendly and did a good job of showing us around so that we would know how to best spend our free time. Definitely worth the money! Less expensive than a train ride alone!

The trip was great and the sightseeing amazing ! Quebec city is beautiful and Montmorency Falls stunning. However the biggest flaw in the trip , which they should rectify right away , was that we were given too little time at Montmorency falls where one can easily spend an hour or so and too much time at Quebec city ( 3 hours). They should give one hour time at the falls and two hours to explore the city.

Highly recommend this tour - it's perfect if you want to visit QC but don't have the time to stay up there. The guides were amazing. QC is a beautiful city, and I plan on returning in the summer. Seeing the ice on the river was also pretty neat.
If you have the chance to do the tour, I say go for it!

Excellent tour within the city and on the coach journey before and after Quebec City. Montgomery Falls is definately a must see.
Quebec City is magical. This tour is a must when visiting Montreal.
The pickup from the hotel went smoothly and much appreciated especially as it was an early start. The driver of the coach who took us to Quebec City was informative, friendly and professional. The journey to and from Montreal was seamless and comfortable. The sights were fantastic and the local guide in Quebec was great. I was particularly lucky as the weather while cold was sunny thus perfect.
