.....a beautiful, informative, interesting, amazing day! ....great tour, wonderful guide, and the vineyard owners were incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable.
The tour was amazing! The scenery was beautiful, the people were great and the wine was fantastic. The guide was also great. I was the only guest that didn't speak French so he made sure to stick close and translate everything for me. He was friendly, funny and made an already great experience that much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
This tour proved to be excellent, and we were blessed with great weather and and the fpliage changing colour in the Fall. The guide was very knowledgeable and the vineyards visited were all excellent and where the owners gave a lot of time to explaining their products and processes. The picnic lunch provided was also superb.
We had one problem on the return journey where the guide had a safety concern about the mini coach, so decided to call for a replacement. Meanwhile we were provided with drinks and a complimentary bottle of wine and we all got to know each other a little better. The company recovered from the mishap with flying colours and with first rate customer service. A superb tour
Please take a tour with Kava while visiting Montreal - the Wine Tour was excellent! Montreal is not know for wine, but we tasted some excellent wines, had a superb lunch, apples frest for the tree, our tour guide was the best! -- learned about the life of a winemaker - and made new friends!!! Plus, the trees were in full fall colour just for us -- Merci!!!
Would highly recommend - a first class operation from tour bus to guide to wineries. Had a relaxing time and tasted wines. Saw the countryside. Nice diversion.
Half day wine tour was absolutely brilliant. Both wineries were ideal in size and hosts made you feel really welcome. You never felt obliged to buy any wine and it was a nice touch with the cheese and bread as well.
It turned out that I was the only person booked for the tour that day, but one of the owners of the company (his guide was sick that day) met me and offered me other options that unfortunately did not work for my travel schedule. So he drove me to the wineries for the original tour I booked. Tasted great wines, met wonderful, hospitable and knowledgeable winery staff/owners and had a great time. Really enjoyed the winery visits/tours and tastings, as well as the beautiful countryside outside of Montreal.
Wonderfully intimate tour to two very different vineyards. We were greeted by the winemakers themselves who provided fascinating details about their vineyards, a tour of the facility and tastings of their wines. If you enjoy wines of any kind, be sure to include this tour in your schedule!
Excelente para los conocedores del mundo del vino. Muy buena atención por parte de los guías. El unico detalle faltante fue un minimicrofono en la van, pues las explicaciones que ofrecían no se escuchaban claramente en la parte de atrás del vehiculo.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Montreal! Nickolas was so knowledgeable, and his great relationships with the vineyards made the whole experience spectacular.
Really enjoyed our all day wine tour with Kava. The guide and driver for the day (forgot his name - sorry) was great, really friendly and knowledgeable about the vineyards and surrounding area. The owners of the vineyards were really enthusiastic about their wines and made it interesting for everyone. One of the vineyards made apple cider and apple iced wine, which was absolutely divine (wish we could buy it in the UK). We had cheese tasting at the final vineyard. They were very nice cheeses, however, maybe a bit bigger samples would have been better. The lunch was lovely, with a well filled sandwich, a yummy maple tart, crudities and fruit. A great day out when staying in Montreal.
Our tour guide michel was great wine tasting was real experience nice tour
An English speaking tour was booked since there was an option. Yet our guide spoke mainly in French or had to be reminded to translate into English.
Enjoyed all the wine tasting events!
Drop the word gourmet from the lunch menu. A sandwich and pasta salad does not make it gourmet ,especially when served oudoors on picnic tables.
