Great tour at a great price. It was just me and the tour guide!! She was very knowledgeable and would recommend this to anyone.
excellent guide, excellent knowledge. This is a must do.
This trip was well worth the money. Great to see the beauty of the stations.
Our Guide made a Great JOB we had a wonderful experience I strongly recommend to enjoy this tour in Moscow. My only problema was to find the meeting point. Really our tour guide put passion to the explanation to each detail an she speaks many languages including spanish!! A summary in one Word "GREAT"

Our tour guide, Elena, was this young, humorous, and very bubble tour guide who gave us an excellent tour of the metro stations. There's so much history and culture in Moscow's metro stations and Elena did a great job of transmitting that to us.
Fantastic tour, guide was incredibly knowledgeable. Really interesting and engaging. Some beautiful stations!
Absolutely brilliant!! Each station was so different and our guide, Irena, was fantastic, friendly and extremely knowledgable!!
I am so glad that we did this! You can't help but notice the artistry in the Moscow Metro, and it is fascinating to see and learn about the history behind the more prominent stops. It also gave me a greater appreciation for the other stops I came across in my travels. Alena is warm and friendly and I had a great time touring with her.
Great experience with excellent guide. Fabulous architecture and artwork in the stations with lots of interesting history.Be aware for people with limited mobility it is fast paced and lots of working but not to be missed if you are in Moscow.
A high paced, highly interesting and very informative tour. I've not seen any metro anywhere else with such interesting history portrayed in its architecture, statues, murals and paintings. The history behind each station is very interesting.
The guide was very articulate and knew her history. Her English was excellent.
I would thoroughly recommend the tour.
This tour was great. Moscow underground is full of history and masterpieces. Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions regarding Moscow and Russian traditions. Recommended.
It was a real immersion in Moscow history. Our guide was great and she explained us about the Underground construction and its relation with the communist propaganda. A must do!!
Outstanding! A must see! Elena, the tour guide was articulate and lively. She was full of stories and able to respond to a veriety of unrelated questions about the city, history, politics, art, etc.
Wow! What a wonderful experience. Our guide Elena was great, the stations which she took us to were amazing and the background information which she gave us was fantastic.
This tour was one of the highlights of my stay. See the most beautiful metro stations and learn all about why they are each decorated the way they are and how they correspond to the period in which they were built. Really well organized - it would be IMPOSSIBLE to do this tour on your own! The same guide did our Communist walking tour so very easy to combine the two tours in one afternoon/evening.
My fiancee and I really enjoyed this tour, so much so that we felt it was one of the highlights of our trip. We thought our guide (Irina) was excellent, and would have done another tour with her if we'd had more time.
Anyone into architecture, definitely should take this tour. We were guided to various subway stations and none of them were alike. Each had it's own uniqueness, and own culture. Thanks a lot to Elena, our tour guide. She guided us in such a way which stirred my excitement about Russia even more.
However, the information on my voucher was misleading. It stated that the meeting point was:
"Biblioteka Lenina metro. KutafiaTower of the Moscow Kremlin"
As a matter of fact, Biblioteka Lenina Metro (the entrance where the sign is) and Kutafia Tower were two different places. The two were separated by a broad street, and not exactly across each other.
My wife and I arrived in Moscow and by the time we checked into our hotel we had to rush to the Biblioteka imeni Lenin Metro Station meeting point. There were other words but we thought being a Metro Tour the logical meeting point would have been at the entrance to the metro station. The instructions given on the booking printout gave the metro station as the primary followed by a tower of some sort. We were told that we were mere metres away from the tower when we went back to our hotel and was told by the concierge. For visitors to the big city and having to familiarize with the directions and names I think proper instructions in Bold should have been provided. The tour would have probably been a good tour but we can't give any ratings as we missed it.
We missed our tour! We arrived at the Metro Station named on the itinerary and found no one. A helpful Russian lad told us the the Tulafia tower was not near the metro station but in Red Square. We went there but did not arrive until 1615, that is, 15 minutes late. We assume that the guide had waited a while and then left. It was all a great disappointment!
this was a real disappointment. instruction on voucher was quite bad and not clear. what didnt help then was some entrance/exits were closed during that day. Eventually found the guide who was 25 mins late but by then my kids had blisters on their feet and it was 29 deg C. we did not join this tour eventually. but we did talk the metro ourselves the next day and we enjoyed it.
