I loved it, the guide was again fantastic, we had a great day and found out so much more about Munich. It is definitely an experience I will never forget.

We found the whole day's experience outstanding. The coach was very comfortable, the arrangements were first class, and the courier was exceptional.

Too bad it rained. The views from the sights and the drive up would have been even more spectacular on a clear day.

The scenery from the Eagle's Nest is spectacular, absolutely stunning, and the tour also travels along one the most scenic roads in Europe. An interesting mix of history is thrown in along the way - the tour stops at the Documentation Centre, a former Nazi bunker in the mountainside, now a museum.

Trip was great, guide was parochial and quite patronsing at times. The lunch stop was sensational.

Although we had lived in Germany courtesy of Uncle Sam, we had not gotten to Berchtesgaden and Eagle's Nest. This was a big mistake. Our trip was a long lost dream of mine. Well worth it!!!

The guide was very helpful and spoke slowly and clearly so everyone could catch what she told us.

We enjoyed the trip but were disappointed that time was not given to explore Berchtesgaden itself, as it was within the advertised timescale of returning to Munich at approximately 8pm--we actually got back at 6pm. I would suggest that it might be better to advertise it as Berchtesgaden and Eagle's Nest or the salt mines, as although we had read the small print and were expecting to visit the mines, a number of our fellow visitors expected to go to the Eagle's Nest.

Spectacular scenery and the guide was good.

The word Berchtesgaden should not be included in the description. We merely passed through the town in the bus. We were allotted more time in a gift shop than in the Eagle's Nest. The lunch stop provided a limited menu in English and the portions were tiny. Be prepared for another 15 Euro charge per person to ride the special bus up the mountain to see the lodge and 3 Euro per person for entrance into the Documentation Center which is in German only. Motor coach was comfortable, views were breathtaking, guide was informative but pushy at times.
