The tour was very well done, very informative, we really loved it. Without the tour you could spend all day there and miss out on the overall picture.

This tour was exceptional due to the guide we had. He was a grad student at the University of Munich majoring in history and he really knew his stuff. Aside from the great narration, the site was sobering. It made a powerful impact on my family. Highly recommended.

Our guide had the tour timed perfectly. We were at the train and bus at the right time to get seats and avoid rushing. She was very knowledgeable and presented the factual information and her views in a manner balancing facts and emotions of a very emotional subject. She explained not only the history of the camp, but the post-camp history and why German schoolchildren and military school students are required to take this tour. Very insightful handling of a tough subject.

If you are in Munich, we definitely recommend this tour! It will be 4 hours well spent, and you won't regret it. Our guide was an English guy who was so passionate, enthusiastic and informative that even the least interested history buff would have had difficulty not being interested in this place. The concentration camp was a shocking place, and it was emotional to see the results of this dark period in human history, but I think everyone should visit at least once. I know we'll be going back if we're ever in Munich again. Walking through the gas chambers was something I'll never forget. The tour operators were professional and kept us informed of what was happening, unlike other operators we found across the rest of Europe. Congratulations to all involved in operating this tour.

We had the option of walking through Dachau on our own or going with a tour. From previous experience with Viator, we knew the tour would enhance our experience, so arranged the tour in advance. Our guide was immensely knowledgeable about the history of Dachau in addition to being very friendly and willing to answer questions. Dachau itself was a sobering experience, and one we'd highly recommend for visitors to the Munich area of Germany.

This is an important and compelling experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, articulate, and gracious. I would have liked more time to walk about on my own, but would not have wanted to dispense with any of his presentation to do so. Another half hour at the end would have been perfect. Thank you.

Very intense. The tour guide was fantastic and gave tons of information. I would not have appreciated this memorial as much if I had not had the information from our tour guide.

I've been living in Europe for 9 months, and this tour is the best thing I've done so far. Our guide was brilliant and very knowledge and friendly. Even if you don't have an obsessive interest in WW2 like my friend and I do, it's well worth the time and money to go on this trip.
