The conducted tour was thorough, interesting and gave us an in-depth impression of what it was to actually experience the systematic humiliation, degradation and inhuman treatment of the prisoners.

A very moving experience, and certainly one worth doing. A well informed local guide takes you to Dachau after a train and bus ride to explore the buildings. There is so much World War II information out there, but to actually stand in the rooms and yards where this took place really brings it home. Walking through the gas chamber and crematorium made me feel quite nauseous. You are given some time at the end to explore on your own too. I would recommend this tour for adults and mature teens only.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating of the group. The tour provides an insight into a concentration camp and the atrocities that were delivered to the people. You walk away speechless because of what you have seen and heard but well worth the afternoon guided tour.

It might not be on the regular tourist trail as one of the 'sights' of Munich and Bavaria, but I think we should all do this trip if only to make us think and be thankful. It was fascinating and sad, moving and interesting. It was well worth doing. It would be made better by making it a longer trip and spending part of the time in the old Medieval town of Dachau, having lunch and then doing the concentration camp.

A very moving experience and a "must see" for any traveler in the Munich area. I would recommend expanding this to a full day tour to allow inclusion of the town of Dachau itself. It has a rich history in its own right that would make an interesting counterpoint to the memorial tour.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Dachau. We needed a little time to buy some souvenirs so I suppose it needs to fit in with the shop closing times. A very moving experience which we followed up with the walking tour of the Nazi Party in Munich.

Not sure you can say you "love" a trip to Dachau, but it's absolutely worth doing. The guide was excellent - he really knew his stuff and told the horrific story of Dachau in a really thorough way. I'd recommend this trip to anyone in Munich - it really does bring home the horrors of what happened.

Outstanding guide! I thought I knew a lot before I got there but was amazed at how much I learned. Somehow the rain made the visit appropriate for the site.
