This is an important, but heart-wrenching tour which everyone visiting Germany should take. Our guide, Steven, did an outstanding job sensitively and respectfully guiding us through Dachau with the most insightful narrative I have ever heard on a tour.
Excellent tour...our guide was so knowledgeable and presented such a sensitive topic in such a respectful manner. Would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in the history of World War II.
The guide seemed very well-informed and very approachable and most importantly for a place like Dachau, he came across as very passionate about his subject matter.
An eye-opener. Extremely well organised and Steve, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable. Would like to have had a bit more time there. The overall 5-hour trip was rather short. Could have done with one more hour.
A must see. This somber, memorial sight was very well explained by a fantastic tour guide. Simple easy half day trip from Munich.
Our guide Tom did an excellent job of getting us on site despite both train lines normally used in to take tours there were down that morning. Once there, he did a superior job of leading us around the location. Highly recommended!
The tour guide gave us interesting additional facts over the excellent signage at the camp, and did a good job of making sure we saw it all, despite other large tour groups. Would have liked more time at some of the exhibits, so we could read more of the additional information.
The tour was very well managed, despite the high season and the crowds, good time management and very satisfied
My guide Steve was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The tour was comprehensive. You need 5 hours 3.5 for the tour and transportation to and from Dachau to complete the tour. Be aware, there is a lot of walking and standing in this tour.
Very informative. Guide was passionate about subject and extremely knowledgable
THE GUIDE WAS THE BEST ALTHOUGH DACHAU WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT PART OF THE WORST TIME IN HISTORY IT IS SOMETHING THAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEE AND THINK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED DURING THIS TIME IN HISTORY SO NOTHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENS AGAIN . WE ARRIVED ON THE APRIL 29TH THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBERATION OF DACHAU. WE WERE HONORED TO BE THERE WITH SOME SURVIVORS AND MANY FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WERE THERE FOR THE ANNIVERSARY. SURPRISINGLY MOST OF THE 25,000 PLUS VICTUMS WERE CHRISTIANS FROM POLAND. I HATE TO THINK WHAT OUR WORLD WOULD LOOK LIKE TODAY IF WE LOST.
Our guide, Kai, was passionate and very informative in his understanding of this very dark period in Germany's history. Although one can easily visit the camp without a guide the group tour was worth the insightfulness and commentary by our guide. Our only criticism is that the tour is advertised as a small group tour. There were 34 people on the tour and that number does not seem like a representation of a small group.

Great site to visit and would have liked to stay longer with so much to see, read and think about. Tour guide was VERY good. This is a must see, must experience memorial.
Jeff was an excellent guide and kept us moving and on schedule. We were able to see all the main points given the large number of students during our visit.
This was an excellent tour and the tour guide was very informative.
Keith the Irish one was a great tour guide - he gave the tour and the memorial site the respect it deserved. Visiting the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial is a a very moving experience and something you have to do when visiting Munich.
Very sobering experience. I would suggest everyone to go on this tour. Our tour guide Diana was knowledgeable, passionate and captivating. She encouraged questions and was happy to answer any question presented to her. She provided stories of hope all while presenting very depressing, dark facts.
Fantastic tour! Our guide, Keith, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. Very sad tour, but a must when visiting Munich. Highly recommend!
Highly informative tour from an excellent tour guide. Keith gave an extremely detailed account of Dachau from its inception to liberation. Highly recommended.
My son and I took my 11 and 12 year old to this site. Our guide was very pleasant and informative. It was a trip worth taking and was good for my grandsons to see.
