Four Day Munich to Frankfurt - Romantic Road, Linderhof, Hohenschwangau, Neuschwanstein
Visit the 'Jewel of the Middle Ages' - Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Rothenburg above the Tauber). A picturesque city, located 425 meters above sea level, it is located on a plateau at the intersection of the Romantic and Castle Roads with the Tauber River flowing below.
See the delightful sites along the Romantic Road. This independent multi-day package is a combination of guaranteed scheduled coach services with additional features like transfers, hotel accommodation and sightseeing tours. Please read the itinerary below for full details.
Itinerary
Your coach departs Munich and proceeds to Linderhof Castle for a visit of approx. one hour (time does not allow to visit the moorish pavillon and grotto). Enjoy a brief shopping stop in Oberammergau before getting to Hohenschwangau. Your tour guide will provide you with the entrance tickets to the castles upon boarding the coach in Munich. Upon arrival, please check into your hotel first and then visit the Neuschwanstein Castle.
Overnight: Hotel Mueller or similar.
Day 2: Hohenschwangau - Rothenburg (B)
You will be escorted to the bus stop for an 8:20am departure. Your coach will travel along the Romantic Road via Augsburg, Norrdlingen and Dinkelsbuehl to Rothenburg train station. Upon arrival at 3:55pm a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the evening at 8.00pm, depart for your walking tour with the night watchman.

Day 3: Rothenburg - Frankfurt (B)
Your morning is spent at leisure in Rothenburg. Please check out of your room and lock up luggage at hotel (at your own risk) before enjoying free time for your own exploration. Return to the hotel to meet a taxi that takes you to the bus stop at around 4:00pm. The coach departs at 4:30pm and continues along the Romantic Road. Arrival time in Frankfurt is approximately 7:30pm.

Day 4: Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Frankfurt (B)
After breakfast start your tour with a half-day trip to Heidelberg, the old university town at the banks of Neckar-River, including a visit of the inner courtyard of Heidelberg Castle. Your tour concludes at Frankfurt in the afternoon.

W e really enjoyed this trip. Everything was very well organized and went exactly to plan. The hotels were stayed in for the 3 nights were all excellent and staff helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent. Really enjoyed visiting the 2 castles on the first day. Be aware that the second day is mainly a travel day with about 3 small breaks along the way. However the following day you have plenty of time to explore Rothenburg. The night watchemen is very entertaining. The Heidelberg 1/2 day tour gives a brief overview of the city. Would recommend this tour for other people as we really enjoyed it,
