This was by far the most interesting tour I have ever had the privilege to participate in. The tour guide was extremely informative and I discovered aspects of Munich that I was before completely ignorant of and shall appreciate the rest of my days.
We basically walked around munich almost exactly the same route we did for the tour and saw very little of the rich war history there is in this city. The tour and especially the guide were brilliant bringing the history to life and uncovering the often hidden history of ww2. If you have an interest in ww2 history or recent events in general then this is a must - price is great also for what you get
The tour operator provided a great view of the history and sites. Our guide was so well prepared that he carried a book with photographs from the era! We walked the city and was given and in view look at Munich under the Third Reich. The tour lasted about 2.5 hours...be prepared to walk!
Guide was excellent. Be prepared to walk quickly as the tour covers a lot in a short amount of time.
What a great tour, our guide was so knowledgeable. He guided us through the history of the Reich from when Hitler got into power from the Beer Hall he spoke in to the marches and also you are taken to a building where the Nazis built this. There are still the nazi symbols on the ceiling (though very subtle.) We are also shown the Gestapo headquarters and the building of the signing of the treaty. Just a terrific tour for all World War II buffs.
Fantastic tour guide and overall experience. It was fast-paced without being too fast. Guide was very knowledgable with both his 3rd Reich tour as well as being able to answer additional questions that were raised. This affordable and professional tour made my trip to Munich that much more special.
