Enjoyed a tour of the city with Danny. Awesome guide and learned a ton about the city and the history. Definitely the way to tour by bike vs. walking or hop on hop off tour.
I would highly recommend a bike tour as your first option to see what Munich as to offer. Its definitely the best way to see the city, in any weather condition. We were lucky enough to only have 4 people on our tour so we were able to visit more of the cities iconic attractions and stay for longer periods of time. But what made this tour unforgettable was without a doubt our tour guide, Dani. Dani was veryknowledgeable on the cities hisotry, but she would tell the stories of Munichs history in a fun and engaging way, which for someone who is not a big history nut was ideal. I loved every moment of this tour.
Great guide, beautiful weather and we got a private tour. Thanks again.
Outstanding tour. A great way to see Munich. Just enough information. Not too much
Excellent tour!! The guide was really nice and the tour was everything we were looking for, highly recommended!
We enjoyed our bike tour a lot. The girl we had spoke excellent English (she was from the US). She was very knowledgeable and showed us a lot around Munich. I would definitely recommend this tour for everyone.
Our tour guides name was Keith. He was a very likable and knowledgeable tour guide - our family unanimously agreed this tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend this tour and Keith.
What fun!!! Our tour guide was wonderful and so knowledgeable. That day they had a German-speaking tour going with 30 people as well as our English-speaking tour which we were the only ones plus the guide! We lucked into a private tour! We loved riding through Munich, and because it was so close to Octoberfest, she took us by to see the tents being built, too. We try to do a bike tour on every vacation we take!
We had a great time, our guide was a good storyteller with enthusiasm. This was a highlight of our stay.
Our family including our teens ages 15 and 13, took the Munich Bike Tour and it was the best and most fun way for sure to see the sights of Munich! Our tour guide (so sorry, we forgot his name) was alot of fun, super informative and knoweledgable on so many historical facts about Munich in the days of WWII and how much of it was destroyed and then rebuilt. The bike ride through this fabulous city was everything it said it was from the description, nothing less and loads of fun! Navigating your way through some of the traffic before we got to the quieter parts of Munich was truly an adventure. We all stayed together in this bike friendly town and followed each other, who then followed the guide! Great fun, our kids had a blast too-we highly recommend this tour!!...Gluck Auf!
Great tour, nice way to see the city, my favorite of the tours I did! Wonderful knowledgeable leader! Comfortable bikes for 60+ yr. old knees! Highly recommended.
We had a great time on our bike ride through Munich and learned a lot about the city! Would definitely do that again.
Our guide Diana was awesome. Very informative. We saw a lot of amazing things in just 3 hours, yet at a comfortable pace. Highly recommend the tour company and VIATOR.
Perfect ! Best way to visit the city and with a french speaking guide, a lot of useful informations , very interesting !
Great tour with Jan. A very good way to orientate and then go back and re-visit the next day.
We did this tour on our first full day in Munich as a family of 3 (including a teenage son) and it provided a great overview for the remainder of our Munich stay. Iahn was our tour guide and he was terrific with intimate knowledge of Munich history and great stories to tell with each stop. Bicycling is mostly easy and flat in Munich with one or two small hills above the English Garden (Munich's large city park) We covered a lot of ground in 3.5 hours so do recommend that you are in basic biking shape as the pace can be a bit brisk at times (but this was too our liking).
Really great tour! Our British tour guide was excellent - funny and informative. We saw lots of interesting places in Munich and the guide was happy to tailor the tour a bit for our preferences.
A great way to see Munich! A family of four; kids 11 and 12. We loved it.
Our guide was great, the ride was pretty easy and we saw some many of the fantastic sights that Munich has to offer. Highlight for the kids was the amazing river surfing on the Eisbach. Awesome.
Moderately strenuous, mainly flat terrain.
Highly recommended for all.
Great city to see from a bicycle, faster then on foot and places you cant get to on a bus. The bikes were all in good order and worked well. The guide was great, very knowledgeable and entertaining and amended the tour by the wants and needs of the group id highly recommend this.
Very well organized and a great way to see Munich. Our guide, Iain, was knowledgeable and entertaining...he brought his dog along, which was also entertaining! He was very professional and made sure everyone was safe throughout the tour. (Munich is a VERY bike-friendly city!) My husband and I decided to rent bikes for the rest of the afternoon, and Iain was more than willing to help us decide on a route and pointed us towards some other things we didn't see on the bike tour. Two thumbs up to Iain!
