It was a foggy day and raining all over, but we really enjoyed the trip. The view of the castle was very different, and it was an enthralling experience. One point to note is that the entry ticket into the castle is absolutely worthless, because there is nothing much to see inside.

The tour was fantastic. We were carefully guided on the train and bus trips, including inside info to be sure we all had seats on the bus. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the castles and made sure we had plenty of time for the tour and gift purchases as well. He advised some of the group to take the bus up the hill to the castle, and they took his advice and appeared to be very thankful they had! The rest of use were carefully guided and given plenty of time to walk up the steep path through the cool and quiet woods and to the Marien Bridge for the outstanding photo opportunity. The tour inside the castle was short but incredible. This tour was great and well worth taking. I highly advise taking this tour.

Our castles tour was a great experience. Our guide for the day kept everyone well informed with historical facts and information on the region we travelled through from Munich. He advised the best places to take the all important photos of the castles and surrounding areas. The day was well organised and we had time to mix with other travellers and swap stories. Our guide was easily approachable throughout the tour to answer any question that the group had. This tour is definitely a must do whilst in Munich.

The Castle was amazing. There is, however, quite a bit of walking, so be prepared!

We has the best guide ever. His guidance and expertise made the experience more than we had hoped for, and would recommend this tour to everyone who travels to Bavaria!!!

I really recommend this tour, it started in time and had a nice guide, who explained the story of the castle and the King Ludwig during the trip to Neuschwanstein. Spent a morning and almost all afternoon, so if you have time in Munich, do it, you will like. If possible, visit other castles also, but this one is the most famous and the outside is beautiful.

Great price! Unforgettable tour of Neuschwanstein Castle! Tour guide was courteous and very knowledgeable of the history behind the castle and King Ludwig. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

It was great, very cost effective and only 6 people in the group.

We had a great time. The walk uphill is a long one if you choose to do it, but once you're there it's breathtaking. The small group tour is fantastic.

Wonderful trip and best guide. I liked all of the trip, definitely worth things to do. The tour guide is very helpful not only as guide but you can even consult him after the tour hour if you want to visit other place around Munich. Really a good trip!!

Rainy and foggy day, however the tour director kept the day interesting with info and fun facts about Neuschwanstein Castle.

The tour was what I expected. We got to the castle and were somewhat on our own for the tour. I think it helps if you do some research before you go. This castle tour was a little thin on history and explanation. One thing that worried me was losing the guide. She carried no identifying feature or sign. We had to transfer from 1 train to another and then to a bus to get to the village below the castle. I almost lost her getting on a train. I could easily see someone losing the guide.
