I highly recommend this tour. It's new, and my tour guide was responsible for introducing this tour to the tour operator's selections. It's a terrific tour for history buffs. After a short 1.5 hour train ride to Nuremberg, you are able to enjoy two vasts contrasts, a morning focused on the Holy Roman Empire and the old city, and, after lunch, an afternoon of fascinating history of the Nazi rise to power and the remains of the monuments that they were constructing to themselves. Our guide was outstanding...he was bright and knowledgeable and demonstrated outstanding customer relations skills. The tour operator is lucky to have him. As well, this is my 7th tour with this company, and they are tops in Munich. Go on this tour and enjoy!

I really enjoyed this trip. Late October was perfect, and the group was very small, which allowed us to set the pace. Lovely to have a mix of history for a one day trip. Morning was focused on early history and the afternoon was dedicated to the Nazi Rally Grounds. Wear your walking shoes.

We did the Nuremberg day trip and though it was raining that day, it was a wonderful experience. We would recommend it highly. The guide was very informative and well prepared. We walked through the old town of Nuremberg, which is beautiful, up to the castle and then back down to enjoy the Christmas markets and some lunch. Then we took a city bus to the Nazi rally grounds and the Documentation Center Museum before returning to the train station to catch the 1 hour and 40 minute train ride back to Munich. This trip is great if your days in Munich are limited, but do make time for this one!

Nuremberg was a interesting trip. The old town is fun and interesting. The second part of the tour that went to the Nazi rally grounds was very interesting. If you're not interested in this history, then that probably won't be much fun to you. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history around there and explained it very well. Great tour for history buffs.
