The guide is very informative. His English is good. I would highly recommend the tour.
Amazing! 100 a must tour ! The Guide on site and on the bus was very knowlageble ,funny, interesting.
Rothenburg is the quaintest village I have every seen. The whole tour and day were unforgettable. Would highly recommend and would love to go again. The price of the tour we paid was worth every penny and more!!!
The guide was most knowledgeable and interesting. I wish I had a recording of her. The area was beautiful.
Excellent visit with ample time to wander the streets of Rothenburg and explore the beautiful architecture and surroundings and of course the shops.
Our tour was absolutely AMAZING! Our tour guide, Marcus, was very knowledgeable and informative. He had a commanding voice and had us hanging on his every word for what was a very long bus ride. Thanks to Marcus, it went by very quickly. At Harburg, our castle guide was Axel. Axel was only 17 and as he informed us VERY new to this job, we were one of his first tours. You would never have known it from listening to him! He has an enthusiasm and energy level that was un-matched by anyone we'd met so far. He seemed genuinely excited to be giving us all the information. His English was very good, and his smile infectious! If you go on this tour, ask for Axel, you won't be disappointed! Rothenburg was a beautiful town. We could have stayed for another couple of hours and still not had enough time there. Again, Marcus was full of information about the town's history, architecture and nuance. This tour was definitely worth a day of our trip, we highly recommend it!
The drive is a little long, but that is why I booked a tour, because there is no way I can get there by myself! the castle tour was okay, what I love the most is the little town of Rothenburg! It is such a charming little town!
VERY ENJOYABLE TRIP. GREAT MEDIEVAL TOWN WITH PLENTLY TO SEE AND SUPERB SHOPPING FOR THOSE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS.TOUR REP WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND MADE THE JOURNEY WORTHWHILE.
Wonderful tour, beautiful countryside and amazing places to visit. Rothenburg is definitely worth visiting, it is such an amazing place to be. Would highly recommend this tour.
Fun ride on the bus through the Germany country side, even though it was not romantic. The guide explained how the name came about. The castle we saw was great and the well preserved medieval town was wonderful with enough time to look around, eat and shop
Whole trip was very good , Rothenburg as beautiful as the brochures, Harburg Castle very interesting, coach very comfortable
Harburg Castle is really neat and full of history, however you do not get to see all of the castle, but the parts you do get to see are interesting. The real star of this trip is Rothenburg. This medieval town is a site for the eyes, and great for souvenir shopping! A must see is the Kathe Wohlfahrt Christmas shop, which never seems to end!
But an even more interesting find was the Anneliese Friese Shop just up the street. Filled with cuckoo clocks and hand carved boxes, this shop is a must visit as well!
This was a fantastic day, we loved both Harburg and Rothenburg. Our bus driver was a magician at times as had to negotiate closed roads with an alternate route. Our tour guide was amazing. We would highly recommend this tour.
AMAZING! This was by far my favorite stop in Germany on our 10 day European vacation. Rothenburg is exactly what you want to see while in Germany. It holds a quaint feeling with all of its specialty shops and adorable buildings. I would almost have liked to spend the night here, not that the tour felt rushed. I just enjoyed it here that much! Harburg was a surprise! I suppose I did not research this tour enough, because I did not realize we were stopping there. It turned out to be my husbands favorite castle that we saw (also went on the Royal Castles tour). It was nice to see a castle that was functionally old and not just built to look old. I would definitely recommend this tour and the Royal Castles to anyone staying in the Munich area. We enjoyed touring outside of the city more then we enjoyed Munich itself.
