An excellent trip. However, we could have used more time in Rothenburg. Our guide recommended a restaurant in town that was very slow. We only had an hour to look around.

We liked what we saw, and the tour guide was great. The day seemed a bit long, but we're not sure how to improve on the amount of time spent on tour buses for the trip.

Wonderful trip, with a good guide. The tour could have been longer.

If you have the time, plan to spend the night in Rothenburg and return the next day - that way you have more time to look around, as the time given is not enough. The place is a real must to see and the drivers / guides are very helpful.

The guide was very informative and the ride was comfortable. It was great to see some of the countryside.

The guide was very good and knowledgeable, but the tour itinerary could have included a couple more scenic stops for better value.

It's 5 euros per person to see boring Harburg Castle from the inside. Looks great from outside but that's it. They say you have an option, and the options are to pay 10 euros and see something you really don't want to see or sit in the bus with the driver for an hour plus. Didn't arrive until past one o'clock and no food stops, then we did tour of Rothenburg for 30 minutes more before we could eat. Of 11 hours of this tour, we spent 7 on the highway going there and back.

This could be a wonderful tour. Unfortunately we went on a Sunday in spring, so the Rothenburg was full of people, very crowded. I heard from others who went on other days that they loved it! I still would recommend this tour!

This trip should be just to Rothenburg without any additional stops. Did I say that the trip should be just to Rothenburg Ok. This trip should be just to Rothenburg. Three hours in such a town is SO little!!

Bus trip from Munich took too long. Tour guide was arrogant and totally biased against Harburg and partial towards certain stores in Rothenburg. Trip back was a long 3 hours of silence and exhaustion. There was no excitement of gratitude when the group disembarked the bus and turned away from the tour guide.

The tour was good; however, our guide did not stop talking during the entire journey there and back - quite a few hours. He droned on and on at a very slow pace - actually put me to sleep. Wasn't particularly friendly to kids and was eager to remind us about tipping at the end. I was also a bit disappointed with Rothenburg - a friend had told me there were no cars allowed within the walls, but this had obviously changed when we went there. Harburg was a bonus, and I thought this was definitely worth doing.

If there is traffic not a lot of time spent in Rothenburg. Crime museum definitely worth a visit. Make sure that you double check the time allowed in town as on our visit, half of us were left waiting at the bus for an hour because he made a mistake calculating the time. Guide didn't bother returning to tell us he had made a mistake. Definitely spoilt the day.

The ride was nice to Rothenberg, and it gave us a glimpse into the countryside. I think a short walking tour of Rothenberg would have been nice. The restaurant was nice.
