The tour guide is good with very clear instructions. Time arrangement of the tour is good. The hotel and restaurant area before going up the castle is beautiful, gives me a bit of feeling like Disneyland. Neuschwanstein itself is not huge compared to other castles in Europe, but its outlook is quite special, so definitely worth going.

I would recommend this tour. It was great. We had a great tour guide. He really made the tour great. He was always giving us information and the day went great.

The tour was interesting, we saw a lot without the trouble of having to arrange the travel ourselves. Tour guide was informative and helpful.

Must say that our guide made the day go like clockwork. The only down of the trip was we would have liked to have more time to shop in the small town. It just seemed that the time was so rushed. The castle tour was perfect, timing was good. Transportation was good, and like I said our guide was the best guide we had while in Europe. Thanks for a memorable time.

The trip was so awesome! Everything was well organized. The tour guide was so nice and knew how to make the day special. That was my first time in Europe, and Viator made it unforgettable. You cannot go wrong with Viator, and I recommend it for anyone. Thanks Viator for the memories, which I'll keep forever.

This tour was fabulous! The meeting spot across from the train station is easy to find, the tour is conducted in English with audio assistance in multiple other languages, and transport is provided in a double decker bus, which makes it all the easier to observe the sights. Linderhof was a bit of a let down, being essentially a gaudy house rather than a palace, but Neuschwanstein and the adorable alpine village of Oberammagau more than compensated.

Good tour; you don't feel rushed at all--plenty of time at the castles and enough time to eat. We had a good tour guide, even though he asked for a tip at the end... Anyway, the trip is wonderful, even in a little bit of rain you get nice shots.

This tour was a very long day, so if you're short on time or will be tired during this leg of your trip, I would recommend maybe just visiting Neuschwanstein instead of both castles. On the day we went, it was freezing cold and raining, but that didn't prevent us from having a great time. Our guide was well-spoken and quite a character, which added to our enjoyment of the day.

The castles themselves are absolutely divine, especially Neuschwanstein. Make sure you walk out onto the bridge over the ravine near Neuschwanstein. It's very high and very scary if you're scared of heights like me! But it was definitely worth doing. You can get excellent photos of Neuschwanstein from this bridge. And if you can't hack the walk up the mountain to get to Neuschwanstein, take the bus and you'll be thankful. We had a great lunch at the restaurant recommended by the bus operator, but there are other shops around if you wish to do your own thing.

We were impressed by this tour operator and would recommend this tour to anyone. It's one of the main reasons we stopped at Munich, and we were glad we made the decision.

This is a must-do tour if you are travelling to Munich. The royal castle at Linderhof was great, and the royal castle of Neuschwanstein magnificent.
