Absolutely brilliant, stress free trip. It was so romantic to see both castles deep in snow and the drive through the snow covered countryside was equally enchanting. Both castles are incredible, Ludwig had a fascinating imagination. Our guide was entertaining too. They even had refreshments, including Gluhwein, on the coach. Definitely better than getting the train or driving. Thanks! Oh, but the meeting point has changed from Herties to Karlstag, same address.

Both royal castles were stunning. They were well worth the money it cost for the trip. The bus tour guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He had our party in stitches the whole time. Absolutely brilliant!

The castle and palace are absolutely worth the trip. The bus was comfortable and the tour guide was informative. The only downside is that you don't have time to see the grottos at the Palace. The bus doesn't stay long enough they announce on the bus that you can't see the grotto in the time provided, but you can return on Tour 3 or something - kind of a shame to travel all that way and miss an integral part of the palace. Still, the tour was worth it. The views from the castle are not to be missed.
