The tour was a marvelous experience. Our tour guide was both informative and humorous. We learned a lot about local history, and the scenery was remarkable. We stopped at several locations and found that we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the surroundings. Although we had time constraints, of course we never once felt hurried or pressured. This is a must-do adventure for those fortunate enough to have the opportunity. We absolutely loved it!

This tour went well beyond my expectations. Our tour guide was superb. He was knowledgeable and had a great personality which enhanced our touring experience. The weather cooperated so that we had spectacular views of the Bavarian Alps. The castles were magnificent structures to view and tour. Our stop at Oberammergau was an added plus to this tour because it allowed us an opportunity to see this famous village as well as shop for souvenirs. This tour was well worth the time and money that it cost. I would certainly do the tour again because the Bavarian Alps and these castles are so awesome. By the way, I rated this tour 4-stars, absolutely fantastic, but it deserves a 5-star or more rating.

Our guide was very informative and entertaining at the same time. Also, the trip was organized wonderfully, breaking up the long trip into much more manageable, traveling distances.

It certainly was a rush trying to cram 2 castles and an alpine village, however it was worth it. Too bad I didn't have enough time to view the grotto at Schloss Linderhof. Also I would prefer to have lunch at Oberammergau instead of at Schloss Neuschwanstein. Notwithstanding, the guide was extremely good. He was witty, well-informed about the places and helpful in providing tips and directions. Keep up the good work!

You can't visit this region without making a trip to King Ludwig's castles. We had a great tour guide and the trip was everything we had hoped for.

The castles and surrounding countryside are breathtaking and definitely worth seeing. We also enjoyed the short visit to the lovely town of Oberammerau, although we wish we'd had a little more time for shopping. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and despite the enormous crowds in August, he made sure that everything ran smoothly and right on schedule with no long waits in line. This was one of the most well-organized tours we've been on and we highly recommend it to other travelers.

The tour guide was awesome. He got us tickets to tour the inside of the castles. He set up lunch at the hotel for our group. It really made the experience wonderful. The castles were breathtaking. He told us the best place to take pictures. Well worth it.

This was a great tour. After the first stop, at beautiful Linderhof Castle, I thought surely things could not get any better, but shopping in Oberammergau impressed me even more, and the highlight of the tour was the breathtaking Neuschwanstein Castle. Thank you, Viator, for an unforgettable experience!

This was an amazing place, so it was just incredibly beautiful. The guide was a bit pushy, but he was funny so it was not out of line. It bears mention that the walk, even when you go with the horse and buggy for most of the ride, is quite strenuous, but worth it.

In spite of an atrocious rainstorm that lasted most of the day, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip from Munich to the Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castles. The tour guide was superbly entertaining and informative, and the castles themselves are simply stunning. The trip also makes a short stop at Oberammergau, a beautiful village. If you are in Munich, try to take this trip!

This was well organised, and we had a good guide. We felt the time in Oberammergau would have been better spent at Linderhof, but it was a great informative day.
