I highly recommend this tour. It is a perfect day trip just outside of Munich with picture perfect scenery along the way. We had a fantastic guide who gave very helpful suggestions, especially related to getting to and from Neuschwanstein from the town. It was excellent all around!

Totally loved it. Tour guide as awesome. This is a great way to see the sights without having to rent a car and negotiate a map. Would definitely book though your company to see sights in other cities.

I was nervous about taking this trip on my own, but the guide was helpful, nice and very clear in her instructions, so the tour was fun and well organised. The castles were beautiful, and so were the surroundings. Well worth the visit!!! Only negative I have at all is that I was slightly confused locating the initial bus pickup point from Munich, as there are 3 department store outlets with the same name and I did not know which I was going to. But then, I could get myself lost anywhere!

This tour was fantastic! The guide was informative and interesting and had a great sense of humor. He had a thorough understanding of the history and culture of the era. The castles were superb against a background of spectacular foliage in the Alps. I fully recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was great. He had clearly studied the area and was able to provide us with interesting bits of information about the countryside, the sights along the way, and the castles. His obvious goal was to see that we got as much from the tour as possible. This tour involves a good bit of walking and stair climbing. Wear good shoes!

The two castles are definitely worth seeing. Not only the castles themselves, but also the location in the foothills of the Alps. The tour was very well organised - left on time, choice of languages for the commentary, comfortable coach, excellent driver and knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Places recommended by the guide for lunch and shopping turned out to be good quality and value for money. Not much spare time at any of the stops.

It was a wonderful tour and the tour guide was a hoot. He certainly marshalled the tourees with a firm but humorous hand that kept things in line and moving smoothly. His commentary and editorializations were both informative and humorous. I would, without hesitation, recommend this tour to all of my friends and family.
