This was spectacular. The Bavarian countryside is breathtaking, and the castles far surpassed my expectations. The guide was very gracious and accommodating. She gave great background and history on the places and Germany. Insights into King Ludwig and why he built the castles and how he lived. The cafe she recommended for lunch was perfect, and the Bavarian cream was delicious. The stop at the village passion play was an added treat. A good balance of culture and shopping time. We loved Germany and the beer.

One of our 6 week trip's highlights. Tour guide was pleasant, and the trip was unbelievable. Plenty of stops, time for shopping and very well organised. Don't miss it.

This is a well run tour. Timing very prompt, the tour guide was very informative and helpful and the driver was excellent. The castles were stunning, and we could have spent more time at Linderhof and Oberammagau but realise that timing did not permit this. Overall, we were more than happy with the day.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to the royal castles of Linderhof and Neuchwanstein. Our guide made the trip very relaxed while at the same time making best use of the time provided. There was a great range of nationalities on the trip from Russian, Italian, French through to Japanese. I was impressed how everyone seemed to be kept in touch with what was going on. The bus driver was excellent. He had a couple of difficult incidents to deal with which were managed very well. Added to everything the sun came out before we reached Neuchwanstein therefore we saw the castle set in the stunning Bavarian Alps in its full glory - the views are spectacular.

This tour was very well organized, fun and professional. A great way to see these castles and save yourself the money and time and hassle of trying to rent a car and see it all yourself. Definitely recommended!

The two castles and the village of Oberammergau were all worth seeing. We were given a good amount of time at each stop. The lunch recommendation was excellent--very fast service with good food at reasonable prices.
