View from the window of Neuschwanstein

September 2009

This is the only look of this lake you see on the tour, because the guide puts heavy pressure for you not to take the bus to the Marien Bridge. It is from the bridge that you see most of the pictures of this castle and the lake.

Royal Villa

November 2014

King Ludwig II completed his Royal Villa in 1878.

Oddly enough, he didn't like to entertain at his Villa so built a dumb waiter underneath his dining room table so his staff could put the food on his table and raise the platform allowing him to eat in solitude.
