Our tour guide did an excellent job showing us Salzburg. He gave us an interesting and informational city tour and then we had 3 hours to explore this amazing city. This was very much worth the day invested and we hope to return to this city in the future!!!

The guide was excellent. As she is an Australian girl, she knows the city from A to Z. She was just amazing. Thanks for all her tips. It really worth the visit, plus a very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I booked this tour originally because it was one of the only tours operating out of Munich in late March. I didn't really have any expectations for it. Now, though, I am so glad that we went. The tour was fabulous. Our guide was very informative and showed us all the highlights of Salzburg. The city is beautiful and very much worth the trip, even if you're not a Mozart or Sound of Music fan.

If it's been awhile since you've seen 'The Sound of Music' be sure to watch it before the trip. Not that there aren't enough sites to photograph in beautiful Salzburg, but a little preview may have helped narrow the options. You can easily spend a lot of time at the Fortress. Be aware that the military exhibits do not have English translations and thus are less meaningful for English speaking tourists. Visiting as we did in early March, the fountains and many statues were still wearing their 'winter coats'. It is also less crowded, so fewer tourists to obstruct views.

We had a great tour leader - knowledgeable, funny and totally appropriate in his recommendations for our ample free time. I personally appreciated that we didn't have to follow a goofy flag on a stick!

Salzburg was a great trip, I really enjoyed it. I wish there was more time in the city, though. Our tour guide gave us a great overview of the city, with highlights of interest for everyone in our group.

My wife and I enjoyed this trip so much that we would like to go back and stay a day or two in the city. The food was wonderful, the people were great, and, by taking the day trip with our guide, we gained an understanding of Salzburg. Our only regret was that one day doesn't do justice to this beautiful, picturesque city.

The train ride was enjoyable, and the tour was well organized. This is a reputable tour company. We had a great guide to a beautiful city, and we met lots of nice people.

This was a wonderful trip despite nasty wet weather. The guide was informative and pleasant, and the experience was definitely worthwhile. So much history and culture, and the shopping was great too.

The walking tour occurred in the rain, but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. The guide was a bit of a hippy from Michigan, but he told us what we needed to know. Our free time was spent roaming through the multitude of churches in the city. It's a beautiful place.
