If you want to travel to Salzburg for a small trip, this is the way to go. The train ride was comfortable, and our guide pointed out sites along the way. Once in Salzburg, we toured with the guide for a while and then had plenty of time on our own. This is definitely worth doing.

I travel extensively and have never been on a tour before, so I didn't know what to expect. I'm really glad I did it, I learned far more then I would have on my own with small details that make a big difference.

Really enjoyed the tour. The guide was knowledgeable and funny. Had good time on the train. Of course you can organise such a tour on your own, but it gives you so much more satisfaction when you can just sit and relax because you know you have a guide.

This was a good tour, if somewhat rushed, and unfortunately the day in Salzburg was very crowded. However, our guide was great, and the walking tour was a good introduction to the old town, before we got to explore on our own.

Salzburg was great. I learned a little more about the Sound of Music than I cared to know, but that's OK. The views from the castle were amazing. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Great city--full of charm. If you like Mozart and everything to do with him, this is a great city to go to, even if it is a bit of a tourist trap. The Alps are amazing, and seeing a few spots from the Sound of Music was awesome.

The tour guide was great - knowledgeable and informative. He kept the tour on a good pace. It would have been nice if the tour had gone into several sites rather than just by them, but that might have taken too much time. There was not enough time to wander the city on your own, but if you only have one day to see Salzburg, this tour is a great overview. But we did decide that we'd like to go back to the city for a longer trip.

The trip was very nice. I felt it was a good amount of time to walk around Salzburg. Everything was good. Although I do think our guide should have said 'goodbye and thank you' to us at the end of the tour. We got off the train and never saw her again. She just walked off.
