Absolutely fabulous! Yolanda was the best. She was very informant, and personal at the same time. I have told everybody to go on this our and to ask for Yolanda. I would definitely recommend
Went by train to Salzburg and the view was lovely, seeing the snow top alps in the distance. Saw various places where "The Sound of Music" was filmed. Lovely city to go back again to see.
Maxine was such a great guide, she was really knowledgeable and gave great suggestions on what to do in our free time. Salzburg is such a beautiful city and I would highly recommend doing this tour!
Outstanding tour I highly recommend. So breathtaking the castle.the churches the shops and the Mountains!
I loved this tour, Salzburg is beautiful!!! Maxine is a great guide, she was so clear in letting us know what the times and where to meet together. She was always ready with suggestions and information.I liked that we started with a guided tour and then were given free time to explore. Unfortunately there is not enough time to do everything you want to do. I would rename this tour taste of Salzburg.
A great way to see Salzburg. Maxine was our guide and she was excellent. She was very professional and even when other guides were being mean, she was great!
Took the early morning train to Salzburg for a very informative and fabulous day. Our guide was British and very knowledgeable of the area. Had plenty of time to explore the city on your own. Wonderful tour. Would use them again.
Our tour guide Iain was marvelous. His knowledge and wit and personality helped make the day a complete success, even though we traveled in March and the weather was very cold and windy. The train ride was comfortable and the scenery along the way was stunning. We were given a very informative and interesting history of Salzburg as we strolled through the town and the plaza's. We were then given 3 hours to explore on our own. We were most excited about the "Sound of Music" sights. The entire day was exceptional. A complete success. Don't miss this tour!!
The trip was wonderful, and went exactly as the tour description described. Anuschka was our tour guide, and she was fantastic. Very organized with a group of about 20, and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The only confusing part was when we met at the tour office in the morning, and trying to figure out the tickets and correct headcount, but it got sorted. The next time I am in Germany, I would not hesitate a bit to book another tour with Viator.
Great walking tour. Our guide was easy going and fun. He was able to provide a lot of information about the sights we would see without making it drag on. He was funny and had a great sense of humor. Great Guide and Tour!
I went on this tour today and it was wonderfall! Iain and his adorable dog Bernie were our guides. He was very knowledgable, funny, and helpful! I highly recommend this tour out of Munich! It was well organized so you did not have to worry about a thing and we had an amazing tour guide. I could not find Iain after getting off the train and wished I could have given him a tip, he was great!
We had Alun as our guide, he was very Knowledgeable and reccomended a great restaurant. Alun helped us out on the journey home with other things to do in Munich. Great tour guide!
Salzburg is a very nice place. I will definitely going back there. Tour director is good too. Only, I did not know that there's a discount if you have a German Rail Pass. I guess it's late to have it adjusted.
Keith has a very pleasant personality and was very knowledgeable. Throughout the train ride he was giving information about Germany and Austria. Upon reaching Austria everything was well planned, Keith was willing to help with any queries we had. Also recommended where we could get food for reasonable price. he made the tour very interesting. two days later he saw us at Marienplatz, he stopped us and asked if he could help us, I thought that was very nice of him.
