The tour just takes you there and leaves you, providing little information or direction. Could have been made more interesting.

The lack of time would be my main complaint. We could have used a bit more time in Salzburg, however the Lake District was absolutely fantastic!

Itinerary was all that we expected however, we were disappointed with the limited extent of information provided by the tour guide. On many other tours that we have undertaken tour guides have been well resourced and have provided considerable local and insightful knowledge. This is why we take a tour of this kind - we pay to be informed as well as be taken to see the sights!

The weather limited our appreciation of Salzburg - sent us looking for hot coffee and warm clothes rather than spending time looking at the sights. A guide through the cathedral and other sights would have been better than letting us find things mainly for ourselves. A better meeting place in Salzburg, given the poor weather, would have been appropriate. The lake area was picturesque and the weather eased a little to let us see some of the sights - but no mountains. The guide was knowledgeable and effective at keeping us to time.

The Lake District was absolutely scenic. Salzburg city center was okay and our tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Very organized. There were comfortable buses, and we missed the bus to the lake district. However, we enjoyed staying in Salzburg longer than then three hours allocated.

The trip was picture perfect. I am glad that I joined the tour instead of taking the train from Munich to Salzburg by myself. It is more comfortable. I learned some interesting information from the guide, and I get to see more with the organized tour. I will recommend the tour anyone who plan on a day trip to Salzburg. Also, the tour cost less than going by myself.

Just two hours and forty five minutes in Salzburg is too short after a two hour long journey. However, on the whole, this was a good trip.
