A beautiful city, located 425 meters above sea level, on a plateau at the intersection of the Romantic and Castle Roads. This once free imperial city is one of Germany's most frequented towns. The Tauber River flows below the town in a valley 180 feet (55 meters) deep.
Re-live your childhood memories as you venture to a land of fairy tales on your visit to the castle of Hohenschwangau. Your final castle visit before returning to Frankfurt is Neuschwanstein, breathtakingly majestic and built on the ruins of Vorder und Hinterhohenschwangau.

Day 1: Munich - Hohenschwangau
Bus departs Munich from Bahnhofsplatz, opposite the Main Train Station in front of the department store Hertie at 8:30am. Proceed to Linderhof Castle for a visit of approximately one hour (time does not allow to visit the moorish pavilion and grotto). Enjoy a short stop in Oberammergau before getting to Hohenschwangau. Check into your hotel before visiting the Neuschwanstein Castle. All your tour documents will be waiting for you at the reception desk.
Overnight: Hotel Muller o.s or similar
Day 2: Hohenschwangau - Rothenburg (B)
You'll be escorted to the bus stop for a 10:30am departs. Travel by coach along Romantic Road via Augsburg, Donauworth, Nordlingen and Dinkelsbuhl to Rothenburg, train station. Upon arrival at 5:05pm a taxi will take you to your hotel. The city walk with the night watchman starts at 8:00pm at the tourist information at the town hall/market square.
Day 3:Rothenburg - Frankfurt (B)
The morning is at leisure. Please check out of your room and lock luggage at hotel (at your own risk) before leaving the hotel for own activities. Return to the hotel to meet a taxi that takes you to the bus stop at 5:00pm. The bus departs at 5:30pm and continues along the Romantic Road. Pass Wurzburg and the Spessart Mountains. Arrival time in Frankfurt approximately 7:30pm.
