Check-in at Windhoek Train Station late morning and the train departs at midday. Later in the afternoon enjoy a game drive with a sundowner for approximately 2 hours. After the excitement of wildlife viewing, you may need a relaxing drink or cocktail in the Spitzkuppe Lounge as your journey continues.
Dinner will be served at 7:00pm in the spacious Welwitschia Restaurant where the overhead lights are unique sandblasted glass panels depicting animal footprints in the mud. Dinner is followed by a star viewing experience outside.
Spend the evening at your leisure enjoying the train's relaxed atmosphere and comfortable cabins each with it's own en suite.
The following morning breakfast will be served between 7:00am and 8:00am in the Welwitschia Restaurant. You will then have the opportunity for a dune excursion at Rand Rifles. Your arrival into Swakopmund will be at approximately 10:00am.
