The morning is spent admiring Muir Woods' giant redwood sequoia trees. This national monument is the site of a virgin forest of California Coast redwood trees, among the oldest and tallest on earth. Behold the majestic redwoods as you take a leisurely nature walk.
In the afternoon you'll visit 2 or 3 small boutique Sonoma wineries, spending at least 45 minutes relaxing at each winery. All wine tastings are complimentary, and you will have the chance to try 5 to 10 delicious wines at each winery. Make sure to purchase some to take home! On your journey back to San Francisco, you have the opportunity to be dropped off in the picturesque seaside village of Sausalito, where you can explore the shops and beautiful waterfront before taking the ferry (additional charge) back to San Francisco.
