This trip was awesome, I really enjoyed it! It was the perfect combination for me of nature and wine. Muir Woods was magical, it definitely exceeded my expectations! Sonoma wine country is beautiful and so is Napa. The weather was perfect, and our tour guide was absolutely wonderful. We had a great time, and he told us some great stories. The 3 wineries we visited were great, really enjoyed the wine tastings, which we had a few between all the wineries, and ended up all singing a song on the ride back to San Fransico! Really good fun!

A wonderful way to spend a day. I went on the tour solo for my fiance was attending conferences for work. I felt comfortable going it alone with the others in the group. Everything was as promised and timely. We started at Muir woods which is (cheesy but true) - magical. Our guide did a great job and got us there before it got too noisy to enjoy. We then went to 3 great wineries which had wine that hit price points on any budget. The passion these people have for their craft made the tours even better. I had a great time and will be booking through viator again in the future.

This was a day trip to Muir Woods followed by wineries in Sonoma and Napa Valley which included amazing views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. The small bus was very comfortable, but what made the trip top notch was our guide/driver Mark. He gave us thorough information on all aspects of our trip from the history of California and San Francisco to the micro-climates of wine country to the conservation movements that established the national parks, and all done with humor. If this is your first trip to the San Francisco wine country this is well worth the money. The wineries visited are less well known but excellent in different ways--one better quality of wines, one excellent in education, and one just a beautiful experience. of course it did help that we had absolutely beautiful weather with no fog for our final spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Muir Woods and the wine country! Matt was a great guide and truly knew the history of the city! I do wish we would have had a little more than one hour for Muir Woods, but other than that no complaints!

The tour and trip were amazing. Mark, our guide, did such a great job and was so informative and had a great sense of humor. I have already recommended this tour to friends. If I come back to San Francisco, I certainly will use your company again for a tour.....Chris

We were staying in the city so it was really nice to get a trip into the California countryside. The Muir woods were impressive and really interesting and the time allowed there was just right. We went to 3 wineries with a stop in Sonoma for lunch. This is a lovely quaint town built around an old fashioned square. The wineries were all really interesting and no one was pushy about u buying wine. Lots of free samples though! The guide (from Extranomical tours) was really informative and enthusiastic. He really seems to enjoy his job and this makes the trip even more enjoyable. We would do this trip again.

The only reason why this tour gets five stars is because Muir Woods is AMAZING!!!! The wineries are good too but without Muir Woods the trip is boring
