Andy, our guide, provided excellent commentary throughout the trip. Great personality and very knowledgeable of the area. We were all very pleased with his driving skills in SF! It was wonderful to not have a worry of driving/navigating a new area. Sat back, enjoyed the scenery and learned so much about the area. Arrived at Muir Woods in the morning, before the major crowds and enjoyed the tranquility of the Redwoods. Pleased that the wineries were expecting our tour group and were prepared! Visited Mayo, Madonna and Cline Wineries. They were all very generous with their knowledge and the tastings! Lunch in the town of Sonoma had several options. Thanks Andy for a great first trip to the Sonoma/Napa Valley!
Our guide was very knowledgable and made our tour fun and interactive. Our hosts at the wineries provided us with their expertise and delicious wine to taste.
Muir Woods was breathtaking.
Great trip to see Napa and Sonoma if you're a first-timer to the area and want to get a great overview of what both places have to offer.
I especially loved the stop in Muir Woods! It was an area I didn't think I'd be able to see on my short visit to San Francisco and it was a must see. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable about the history of Muir Woods and the famous trees that reside there. The natural beauty of the place was breathtaking and I see why many people go to the woods to meditate.
The Wine Country Tour was designed to give you a taste of different winery styles, from a small family owned vineyard to a larger vineyard that distributes wine. It was an all encompassing tour that left me excited to return to Wine Country and a little pink in the cheeks from all the fabulous wine I tried.
Wonderful day. Picked up on time with very courteous and knowledgeable driver and tour guide Andy. Muir Woods a definite must on any itinerary and vineyard tours great with plenty of time at each.
Very enjoyable and complete day trip. The winery choices were good because of their size, affordability and selections. Also, did not have an additional tasting fee. Our tour guide, Roman, was very informative and energetic. The trip ended with visiting areas near the Golden Gate Bridge from the Sausolito side which were great views and an added surprise.
Was a great day. The tour guide was really friendly and informative.
Our driver (I believe her name was Sophie) was great! She had a lot of information on the areas we drove through on the way. The scenery is beautiful, the wine tours tours were fun and relaxing! We were disappointed that we couldn't go to Muir Woods (part of the tour) but that was no fault of the tour company, just our lovely gov't! Would highly recommend the trip.
Another great day Muir woods was awesome. The guide Romeo was delightful, really giving of his best with lots of enthusiasm about what ever he spoke about.Of course the wine tour was the highlight for me as im a great wine lover.
The scenery of Muir Woods cannot be adequately praised with words and the Wineries that were chosen for the tour couldn't have been better. But the one thing that makes this five star is Roman, our tour guide. His sense of humor had us laughing the entire trip.
We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Roman was amazing and made our day an absolute delight!
Even from the middle back bounciest seat in the bus Roman was amazing as a tour guide. I've long had practice at puns and comedic intention. Mom and I were hysterically laughing even before the sheer cliffsides and German producer influence on the story line... heheheee. trust me : it's worth it, just don't eat a big breakfast or look out the windows until after getting to Muir Woods. The Woods are beautiful but the fun happens afterwards! We visiting Mayo winery which I just enjoyed an AMAZING tasty bottle of Pinot Noir I bought and shipped home (get the wine bottle shipping bag for assurance through checked baggage). And we visiting Sonoma for lunch and Napa Valley winery Madonna Estates. Then finished with Cline winery with lots of samples and free premium tastings. Almost ALL the tastings are poured freely and included in this purchase from Viator (highly recommended over pay per tasting on other sites). Roman even had time to take us to bonus locations (i.e. Suasalito and Fort Baker and Overlook Point). The "please tip dance around" at the end was more than worth the tip I was already going to give him!!! I loved every minute of the tour for sure.
Great tour overall, the morning start was great in Muir woods we got there early before the other tour buses which allowed for a peaceful time in the park. Our guide Mark was great and engaging with everyone and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas history. This tour was the perfect balance of wine tasting, Muir woods and the little town for lunch.
