Our tour guide was great. He made sure we were all happy and went the extra mile to speak in Spanish also - we had a couple from Argentina with us. Pompeii is a must see when in Italy - it is unbelievable how that much survived. I would recommend staying somewhere other than Naples, because it is a rough city.

One word: Amazing. One of my favorite days I spent in Italy. The guide was funny, witty and knowledgeable. The food was delicious as well! Highly recommended!

A great experience! Our guide was fabulous, animated, knowledgeable and organized. Unfortunately we couldn't go to Vesuvius as a big storm was coming and the access was closed. It would have been dangerous. However that's an 'Act of God' and not something the tour company can do anything about.

Excellent guides. Seemed a little unorganised at the start. Pickup was meant to be 10:30am from our hotel, but we were collected from alternate point at 11:45am. Fantastic tour through ruins of Pompeii. Walk up Mt Vesuvius was at OUR own comfortable pace - we weren't rushed.

This was one of the best tours that we took in Italy. The guide was absolutely fantastic - friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He also had a great sense of humour! This tour is great value for money - pickup was very smooth and on time, and there were only 4 of us were on the tour. Will definitely take other Viator tours next time in Italy.

Worth doing. Our guide was great and knew so much about Pompeii and could answer any questions we had. The tour group was a good size, not too big, so that we could always see the guide and hear what was being said. Picked us up and dropped us off on time. Highly recommended.

Our guide was fantastic. First, he gave the tour in 3 languages, which was quite impressive. Second, he was very knowledgeable about the history and culture. Third, he was passionate about Pompeii, which came through clearly in his presentation. The tour van picked us up at our hotel on time, and everything ran smoothly. Lunch and the trip to Vesuvius were completely enjoyable. The small size of the tour--10at Pompeii, 2 at Vesuvius--was great and in stark contrast to some of the large groups we ran into. This, along with our experience with the Vatican tour, has convinced us to always use Viator in the future.

The tour was EXCELLENT! Great guide - small group, wonderful places! The only issue we had was pickup. Since we were on a cruise, it was harder to be "found". But they found us with a little work on our end, and we had an INCREDIBLE day!

We have just returned from our first trip to Italy, and this tour was one of the highlights. Our tour bus was on time, and we cannot say enough about our tour guide. He made the day in Pompeii spectacular. Climbing to the top of Mt. Vesuvius was something that we will never forget. We are planning to return to Italy in the future and will definitely keep Viator in mind. Thank you for a great service. Caio!!

The entire day was amazing and easy. They picked us up from our cruise ship in the morning. We had to worry about nothing. My boyfriend and I were joined by 3 others. The group size was perfect. Much better than the cruise ship tours, which can have way too many people. Our guide was the best. He was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Pompeii. He answered all our questions. Our lunch was very good. An authentic Italian pizza. I would recommend this to anyone.

We decided to take the combination tour Pompeii and Vesuvius, and we don't regret it. It was fantastic, well organized, and the guide was so entertaining and knew a lot about Pompeii. He made our day.

We had a great guide taking his time to tell all and show us the amazing sights of Pompeii and Vesuvius. We had a very small group, so the guide could take his time and explain more things to us.
