This tour was a real winner: prompt pick-up, a small group, and a really informed and insightful guide whose knowledge of history was an added bonus. Other than being able to spend a little longer at Pompeii and perhaps being able to choose something other than pizza for lunch, there is nothing I would want to improve.

Everything went smoothly. They picked us up at our hotel right on time, Pompeii was fantastic and Mt. Vesuvius was awesome!! Loved the tour guide as well, he was informative and funny.

This tour was fantastic! Pompeii was impressive and our guide was informative about all of the aspects of the event as well as daily life in Pompeii before the eruption of Vesuvius. The walk to the top of Vesuvius really made the day. The walk is relatively short, but has a few grades not suitable for everyone. But if you can handle the walk, don't miss the chance to do it.

Looking back now at our entire vacation, this tour from Naples was the highlight of our trip. It was definitely evident that our tour guide loved his job. This made the trip even more enjoyable. He was extremely informative, not to mention hilarious. He gave such a vivid description on how people lived in Pompeii 2,000 years ago. I would recommend this tour to ALL my family and friends!

The guide was awesome, real funny and great to be around. His knowledge of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius was incredible and worth every penny. The lunch was the best I had in Italy; the pizza was the best I ever had. DON'T PASS UP THIS TOUR!!! It's a must. Thanks for the great experience!!!!

Well worth doing, guide spoke very good English. It was very entertaining and easy to get on with. I would not hesitate in recommending this Pompeii day trip.

I loved my tour of Pompeii and really loved visiting Vesuvius. I love volcanoes, so this was a great experience. It was worth every minute.

This tour was great! Unfortunately we did not make it to the top of Mt. Vesuvius because of weather but the driver did drive us to the highest point we could make it to. The tour guide was unbelievable and even took us into the train station to exchange our train tickets because we had booked them wrong. None of us spoke any Italian and she wanted to be sure we got back to Rome! The company was quick to answer email questions and very accommodating. Pompeii was fascinating. I didn't know what to expect but I definitely suggest you see it!

The tour was wonderful, and our guide was very informative and entertaining. Because of the weather, we were unable to visit Vesuvius, but the Pompeii tour was great.

It was a great experience. Started off with 10 of us in the group for a tour of Pompeii - the tour guide was really informative and spoke good English. The ruins are great and we learnt heaps. Next thing was lunch, I was expecting a slice of pizza but we all were given a full pizza each - very satisfying. Then half the group left and 6 of us continued to Mt Vesuvius - AWESOME. The walk to the crater was a little steep but definitely manageable, the views from the top were spectacular. I would definitely recommend both parts of this tour!

The tour was on time, and the guides were very good at explaining the history. The hike up to Vesuvius was hard and not for anyone with health problems.

We really enjoyed this trip. Our guide was very informative and took us to see all the important sights, explaining and showing us things along the way that we would have easily have missed if we had gone on our own. The pizza lunch and drink were also excellent. Then we went to the top of Vesuvius. We drove three quarters of the way up and made the final ascent on foot. The views from the top of the volcano are unbelievable, and having the guide explain everything about the volcano and all that we could see around us was excellent. We would highly recommend this trip to everyone. The walk to the top is challenging; however, if you take it at your own pace, it is worth the effort when you reach the summit!
