our guide Andrea was superb - informative, humorous, knowledgeable and he made the Pompeii trip for me. I was picked up on time in a clean, air conditioned people carrier and everything was well organised. Happy to recommend.
This was a very interesting tour and our guide Andre was excellent. Very informative, and fun. Thank you so much!
Great way to see Naples the city and our tour of Pompei was great. Our guide was very informative and the team took great care of us. We appreciated the on time pick up from our local location and the very organized tour overall.
Well worth booking the city trip as the guide was very knowledgeable and was able to show us parts of the city of Naples we otherwise would have missed.Pompeii is a must unfortunately we had very bad weather the day we went so advisable to carry an umbrella with you as there is no shelter and the place is vast but well worth the experience.
Thiswas a very nice informative City tour and most professiona giude through Pompei.
We leraned a lot and enjoyed the day a lot.
Great tour! Weather was atrocious but our guides were fantastic. Highly recommended :)
I cannot say just how much I enjoyed this tour. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. We had been on a tour the night before and were disappointed. Not this time. We were given lots of information about the sights we saw, taken into the Basilica of San Gennaro (wow), delighted by the City from top to bottom and then the piece de resistance - Pompei. What an amazing place. Once again our guide walked us through history, regaling us with funny bits of information about life in Pompei. Loved it to bits and would recommend this tour to all.
What was nice about this trip was we had Maria all to ourselves on the first part of the tour so we got very personalized service seeing Naples. The second half was with a different guide in Pompeii and she also did a nice job explaining everything to a now larger group. The nice part about the city tour is it got us situated for the rest of our stay in Naples.
Despite the drizzle, the guide made the tour thoroughly enjoyable - she was genuinely passionate about the art of neopolitan churches and the culture of Pompeii.
This tour met our needs during a quick 48 hour stopover in Naples. We booked the tour last minute. The representative I spoke with on the phone was courteous and clear about trip details. Our driver picked us up at our hotel promptly at 8:30. The Mercedes mini-bus was new and very clean and the driver courteous and friendly. We spent time touring Duomo di San Gennaro and then drove to other key buildings and stopped for some amazing city views before we picked up additional tourists to join us for the Pompeii portion of the tour.
Our guide, Maria, provided a great overview of how life was in Pompeii. We were able to tour the theater, Gladiators Barracks, Stabian Baths, House of Faun, Buildings of Eumachia, and Lupanari to name a few. Maria's comments were insightful pointing out many details along the way, things we would have overlooked if we were touring by ourselves. If you want to spend time wandering through Pompeii, don't take this tour. But if you want an informative overview without any worries, TAKE THIS TOUR! My experience with this Viator tour was outstanding.
Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip/experience. Would definitely use Viator recommendations again.
Pompeii was the highlight of this tour. Our tour guide was fantastic. He was able to help you understand what life was like back then. Walking through the city streets of Pompeii was amazing. Although I would not suggest taking kids on this tour. There were some pretty explicit images. But overall very much worth the money.
Great value tour! Tour guide very professional! Love it x 1000
One of the highlights of our trip throughout Italy. So much information it would be hard to remember most of it; but it was incredible! Very good tour guide and very good history lesson. Highly recommend!
