During this trip our tour guide was fantastic. She did an excellent job explaining the ruins and painted a perfect picture of how things were.

The guide was the highlight of our 5 week holiday as his personality and explanations of Pompeii were not only hilarious, but very informative. Only downside was the quality of the postcards sold there by the vendors. We know that this is beyond your control.

I really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide did a great job. There were 5 of us on the tour and because it was off season it was very easy to see everything. The only difficulty was not being able to bring a stroller for the baby. But that wasn't Viator's fault. It was because of the terrain in Pompeii. I wish I could have booked another tour for the short time we spent in Italy.

Our tour guide was absolutely wonderful. He was obviously knowledgeable, but also accommodating and helpful. We learned a lot, enjoyed the site, and had a good time. We should also note that our driver was also helpful and efficient.

We had a wonderful tour. They came to our hotel and picked us and returned us. Our guide was very pleasant as well as being a wealth of information. It is a must do! The only problem was it was very hot, but none of us have any control over this.

Our guide made this tour very enjoyable. He had a great sense of humor, knew English very well, and he took the time to explain the history of Pompeii to us and answer all our questions. I only wish Viator offered a longer tour that allowed more time to see all of Pompeii. I would have gladly paid extra for that.

Our tour was wonderful. It was a very small group and our guide was able to answer all of our questions. I would recommend the experience for any friends travelling to the area.

It was worth the round-trip train ride from Rome to visit Pompeii.

Very informative and humorous. We didn't think that three hours would be enough, but it seemed like a perfect amount afterwards. Highly recommended.

The minivan picked us up at our hotel on time, and there was only my group of 3, plus 3 other tourists. Our guide was fabulous. His English was excellent, he had a degree in ancient history, and gave us an amazing tour of Pompeii, full of information and humour. After the tour, at our request, he dropped us off at an area in Naples that had nice restaurants and he showed us where to get the bus to get back to our hotel.
