What You Can Expect
Travel along the Cumberland River, admiring the view of Nashville’s city skyline and neighboring landscape while relaxing on the outer deck or indoor cabin. Then enjoy a savory Southern-style mean in the boat’s onboard Victorian theater.
For lunch, the buffet typically consists of a mixed green salad with a choice of dressing, then roasted chicken in rich country gravy or slow-roasted, sugar-cured country ham with mustard-molasses glaze and corn bread. For dessert, there’s pumpkin cheesecake. Appetizers are also available for purchase. The lunch cruise features a lively comedy/variety show called “Nashville Live.”
For dinner, start with a mixed iceberg wedge salad followed by braised short ribs with barbecue demi-glaze, sweet potato gratin and the chef's choice of a seasonal vegetable. Dessert is a chocolate tart with Jack Daniels whiskey-spiked seasonal fruit. Appetizers are also available for purchase. The dinner cruise offers a production of “Heart of Tennessee: A Musical Journey,” featuring a live orchestra and a cast of dancers in extravagant costumes.
The evening concludes with a Nashville hotel drop-off.
This tour was amazing!
Everyone was very friendly and worked hard to make our visit a memorable one. The food was good and the entertainment was great. Enjoyed the paddle boat ride on the Cumberland River.
Very professional with the utmost in security, comfort, dining experience, and live performance!
Great time on the tour, good food and intertainment , nice scenery
Loved it! The food, the entertainment, relaxing, The only thing that I would of liked was someone on the outside decks telling some of the history or facts as to where we were and or about the showboat.
This lunch cruise on the General Jackson was wonderful. The food was excellent, the entertainment fabulous and walking around and the gift shop was very nice.
the cruise was wonderful. Booking it through viator was a nightmare. When we got to the cruise office they told us our tickets that we already bought were not there. The person driving the shuttle which we did not take had them. They had said the cruise left at 6:00 and it was 5:55 and no bus. We did an extreme amount of worrying.
very organized and the music was top rate. Considering how many people were on the cruise, it was smooth sailing with the lunch and everyone had a relaxing time.
Thoroughly enjoyable.....great service....would use Viator again.
Great show, very profesional.Buffet meal was lovely.Lots of choice. Fantastic relaxing entertaining trip.
