We were the only two on this walking tour. The guides were helpful and very knowledgeable and gave thorough explanations of all sites. This is a long tour, however, and perhaps not for those who are out of shape!

It was a fantastic tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, informative, and pleasant. He gave the best tour ever. There were only four of us though we had not booked it as a private tour, and he took us to places we would not have found on our own. A small detail: When we called to confirm, we were told it started at the company's office, but it actually started at Dam Square, a five-minute walk away. Don't miss it.

Well worth doing when you arrive in the city. The guide was excellent and very informative. We learned a lot of the city and it's history, which stood us in good stead when making longer visits to some of the attractions.

This walking tour was very helpful to explore Amsterdam in a short time. If you do this tour the very first day of your visit, it will be more helpful for the rest of your trip. You can explore historical places and their stories with the help of guide. The guide was very helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend this tour everyone who visits Amsterdam.

Scheduled on a day that looked okay but ended up cold and rainy and I wasn't dressed appropriately for cold, our guide gladly let us come back a few days later. Glad we did as there was a lot of walking the fascinating streets, much more comfortable in clear weather. Our guide was superb - interesting, knowledgeable and fun. Walk lasted 3 to 3.5 hours including a lunch break at a local big a-la-carte buffet type local restaurant with sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. Probably would not have found it on our own we all paid individually for lunch choices. This is an efficient, entertaining and educational way to get a good overview of Amsterdam. Be prepared for any weather. Highly recommended. Excellent tour!

This was a great way to see the sights as well as learn about the past and present of Amsterdam. Would definitely recommend doing it early on in your trip. We had a great guide who was very knowledgeable as well as funny. This tour is a really good value.
